Default Quick HD Question

I have my 20Gb IDE drive with windows on it
my 40Gb IDE with some other stuff on it.
and my 250GB SATA drive.

How should I set the jumpers to get it to boot from the 20GB and read the other two.

Thanks

set master/ slave with the pins in the back of the hard drive, and then set boot order.

i would set the 20gb as primary master, then the 40gb as primary slave, and optical drives on the secondary line
i'm not sure how it works with you mix IDE with SATA, though
i assume they're independent

well the thing is, SATA is configured via the BIOS, but the IDE drive array is configured via the jumpers on the back, and I'm not really sure how its supposed to be arranged.

Ok, I figured out one part of the problem. I forgot to plug in the molex power connector to my CD drive.

But now a new problem arises.

My WD250GB drive doesn't show up in windows. the BIOS recognises is as "serial ATA master 1".

I looked in the "device manager" and the driver for the drive is installed, but it wont show up in "my computer"
