What does it matter if you played desert combat? thats a bf1942 mod, not bf2. Its a different game. thats like saying i played hogans alley so im good at halo 2

Desert Combat is very diffrent from BF2. Even though some of the vehicles and guns may be similar, it isn't exactly the same.

not really. in BF2, graphics are better, coding is better, a tad bit more weapons, a raking system and squad based warfare.(yay?). They have the same controls, same fundamental concept. same gameplay. what more do you need?

no, just because a game has new weapons and looks nicer doesnt mean you cant be good at the other game.

The physics and code are completely different. Thats like saying since I'm so good at Painkiller, I can kick your *** at Return To Castle Wolfenstien. In reality to have to get used to new movement, weapons and maps. They add so many things into the equation from DC that it is in fact a different game. Plus BF2 was done by a professional group.

haha. Actually. Trauma Studios, the people who made DC, were bought be DICE, the deveoper of Battlefield 2.

The gameplay is the same. Taking positions by standing there and defending them. You could be just as good with Star Wars Battlefront as you could with BF2, or DC.

Yeah that's true, I play a lot of Day of Defeat: Source and then one day I decided to just try out normal Day of Defeat. Turns out I'm complete crap at it.

Isn't the regular version and source version basiclly the same? I played both at my friends house and they both felt the same.
