Well, Keith Moon gave them the name, joking about how the band would go down like a Lead Zeppelin.

A Zeppelin is this:

They then changed their name from Lead Zeppelin to Led Zeppelin because they thought Americans would pronounce it "Leed Zeppelin". (Yes american, they never mentioned anyone else.

They then took the picture of hindenburg, and turned it into their first album cover (one of the best debut albums EVER)

The Cover:

Led Zeppelin Produced the best music ever. Too much information to post about it now. Long story short, the drummer (John Bonham) died in 1980 after choking on his own vomit in his sleep. The banned tried to replace him, but then broke up because they could never replace him. (John Bonham died on September 25th, in Jimmy Page's mansion).

No. There's a part in "Stairway to Heaven" where if you reverse it, it says something about the devil. It's bull though.

I can understand people who are athiests... but why someone would choose to endeavor in DEVIL worship is beyond me.

Get someone to send you the following songs by Led Zeppelin:

Black Dog, The Ocean, Stairway to Heaven, Whole Lotta Love, Kashmir and Moby Dick. Those are a fraction of all their good songs. They are great. It's even better live.

On How the West was Won (all live songs) Moby Dick is 19 minutes long (with a 17 minute drum solo), also Dazed and Confused is 25 minutes long. Jimmy Page plays his guitar with a bow. Incredible.

Are they that type of band that screams and yells a bunch of stuff you can't understand and the music is really loud?

No.
And get Bearshare if you ever think about downloading music.
My dad is a Led Zeppelin fan as well so I recognize some of those songs from when I was little.

No. All instrument players are amazing at their instruments. Also, get Trampled Underfoot. John Paul Jones plays two-three keyboards at once.

Oh, Robert Plant doesn't scream.
