Because of a limit of 10 choices I'm going to have to put them in my post here, Now, post what your favorite console is and why it is your favorite console, this will help people get to know your console of choice more.
Choices: Magnavox Odyssey Atari Pong Coleco Telestar Fairchild Channel F RCA Studio II Bally Astrocade Atari 2600 Magnavox Odyssey2 Milton-Bradley Microvision Mattel Intellivision Nintendo Game & Watch Entex AdventureVision Emerson Arcadia 2001 Zirconn Channel F II Milton Bradley/GCE Vectrex Colecovision Atari 5200 Mattel Aquarius Mattel Intellivision 2 Coleco Adam INTV System III Nintendo Entertainment System Atari 7800 Sega Master System NEC TurboGrafx-16 Nintendo Game Boy Atari Lynx Sega Genesis Sega Game Gear NEC TurboExpress SNK Neo Geo Super Nintendo Entertainment System Sega CD Phillips CD-i Commodore Amiga CD32 Pioneer LaserActive 3DO Atari Jaguar Sega Genesis CDX Sega/JVC X'Eye Sega 32X Sega Genesis 32X CD Sega Pico Sega Saturn Nintendo Virtual Boy Sony PlayStation Sega Genesis Nomad Nintendo64 Game.com Bandai Wonderswan Nintendo Game Boy Color SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color Sega Dreamcast Sony PlayStation 2 Bandai Wonderswan Color Nintendo Game Boy Advance Nintendo GameCube Microsoft Xbox GamePark GP32 Panasonic Q Bandai SwanCrystal Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP Nokia N-Gage Nintendo iQue Sony PSX Nintendo DS Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) That about covers it right? I'll start. My favorite console is the NES, because it entirely revolutionized gaming as we know it, and added one of the most memorable characters to date to our every day vocabulary, Mario. The three Mario Brothers games that were released for the NES all had something special, along with the other various first-in-genre titles that truly define gaming as it is to this very day. Edit: I know, I bolded them so they stood out more. I copied the list directly from http://www.game-machines.com/consoles/ minus consoles that have yet to be released. Last edited by foulplay; 08-06-2005 at 01:55 AM. |
