Is there such a thing as a good mmorpg that is browser based.. ?

Guildwars Does not need a monthly fee and has decent gameplay. It's a fairly short game though. But it does get you thinking and will satisfy the PVP type.

Its horribly expensive but its good

in aus dollars its 90 bucks for the game then 40 bucks for 2 months gameplay

I stand corrected. Guildwars is a decent MMORPG but compared to the actual gameplay in World of Warcraft it's not as good. Although saving the 15$ a month is better.

Ragnarokonline is great. Addictive gameplay and fun skill/job system.

So someone posted a link to a funny video on another webboard and it linked back to here. Then I kinda browsed the forum and noticed this thread.

So yea back to mmorpg.

TDZK has a playerbase of 4000 gamers, you play the role of space pilot. You can either make your own faction or join one of the other factions. Each faction gains points for raiding ports, destroying other players etc etc. Factions play to be the #1 factions. But to be able to buy ships to destroy others, raid ports etc you need money. This money you can make from trading , resourcing, iteming, pirating and many ways more. You can also play the solo game in tdzk and play for stats, being the #1 in kills or atleast high ranked. There's npc or just try to be the #1 in exp or goods traded. I'm playing this game for 2 years now and I give it a 10 out of 10.

Yeah, i also have World of Warcraft, and i think its worth everything i pay for it. Great gameplay, graphics, pretty much everything is down pat.

I personally used to play www.tibia.com.. it was free but you could pay to get more stuff. I quit ages ago and now the game has too many servers and stuff so I don't know about it. I was a player back when it was still pretty new and had about 8 servers compared to the 20-or-so they have now. WoW looks good but it just so damn expensive and I don't want to be paying that much because I know sometimes I won't be able to play.

AmericasArmy is supposed to be one of the better ones out there, although I believe they are already having issues with cheaters.

Do you know about RO (ragnarok)??? You can play it for free. RO Private servers are free. I suggest mob ro.
