y july 4th is the most american holiday

ok first off red necks suck ass. so i am definatly not one. But july 4th is the most american (not redneck) holiday because it is an excuse to take a day offa work and blow shiit up

If celebrating something of that magnitude is an "excuse" then the point of holidays is useless.

True, some people do forget the meaning of the holiday, some take advantage of it, but that's just ignorance.

Actually...July 4th is when they signed the Declaration of Independance and sent it to England...
The time when they actually won the revolutionary war and stuff was some way later time...
Anyways I like July 4th because we get to light stuff up, blow stuff up, and also get a day off....(And let's not forget it's the only holiday where it's legal to light up some fireworks...) Well anyways that's why I like July 4th.
