What happened to all the Arcade high scores?

I remember that I had about 120,000 on breakout, and this other guy had about 400,000
I check back and the high score is a wimpy 44,000 (I am the champion, now)

However, I lost my last three lives because I had to go but I still am the Breakout Champ! Any challengers?

This forum has the MOST smilies of any I've ever been to.

Because of the patheticly good players vs the el-stink-o players, it was impossible to get even noticed, so john erases the scores every week or so.
