My mom was in shock and refused to believe it. She was one of the types who was "in love" with him in her teens, and never really stopped "loving" him, in a sense. My sister called her and told her, and she was like "Oh come on! That's not true," in a light-hearted manner... and then my dad didn't seem as amused, so she started looking shocked but still refused to believe it. I started chiming in saying "Well, there's nothing we can do about it either way," but she was still like "That doesn't matter anyway, because he's not dead," to which I sarcastically replied "Okay..." and rolled my eyes. Then my dad sternly looked at me and I felt bad. Then of course, he went over several news reports online to my mom and I.

... I felt like such an ass.

i woke up this morning full of optimism... it was gonna be a good day. i was going to have breakfast then spend the better part of the day finishing off overdue work, then drive to my girlfriends house for dinner.. so i got up and turned on the t.v. and saw breaking news headlines.... fuck
before you say something stupid like "he died in the afternoon Douchefag", remember that I'm in Australia and that your Thursday afternoon is my Friday morning.
