Default Horton Hears a Who

Pretty much the greatest feel-good movie ever. I probably liked it because it was barely even a kid movie.

I would recommend it. For this scene, if nothing else.

That reminded me of Jimmy Chow, but more kid friendly. I definitely have to see this movie now.

Well that was disappointing. They have completely ruined one of my childhood favorites. Good job, writers.

... that was only one scene. It actually is a good movie. They changed it around only in the way that The Grinch was changed.

Mhmmmmm.

I can't legitimately say anything until I actually see it, but have you ever seen the original?

Yup.

Just... I guess, so you'll be prepared. This movie is more of an adult movie disguised as a children's movie, like The Grinch was. It's still basically a kid movie, but it has a lot of smart/"subtle" humor that educated teenagers and parents will get. Though the kids in my theater seemed to get it just fine. Children and adults were laughing interchangeably.

I liked the redo of the Grinch. It was kinda like how they changed Charlie and the Chocolate factory, to fit now. I'll always love my originals.

Yeah... as funny as the remakes are they never give you that pure nostalgic feeling. But what do I know... I'm only sixteen years old. This one'll probably give me that too one day.

Agh! I HATED the Grinch remake. Worst movie ever. And the seen with him as a kid being made fun of? Fucking most depressing/scary ass shit I ever saw in my life. Pyscho furry green kids are scary.

Exactly. It's not that "I remember those days" sort of thing.

You know its true. The Grinch remake was a piece of shit. And it had a freaky scene where the Grinch went psycho with scissors as a small furry child.

I guess I agree with you that they did go a little Shrek there at the end, but I still like the movie.
