Your favorite part of the Christmas season

Is it the snow and the weather? The decorations and beauty of shopping? The seasonal foods like egg nog and chocolate covered orange peel (granted, that's part of pesach tradition)? The presents? The songs? The fact that everyone's in a better mood than normal? The time off from school, and vacation? For me, I think it's all of these (except I don't get snow, and Christmas songs suck), plus the fact that I work in a grocery store and sales nearly triple during the holidays. $)

Of course getting gifts is nice but they're decreasing in number over the years. The best part for me is having the whole family and relatives over for a big, warm gathering and playing with each other's new gear. Plus no school.

Is it just me or do you never sleep the night before Christmas day? I can never relax from being hopped up on the sugar from the Christmas Eve party and Santa's coming to town! ;D

Waahaa, i get no snow ;_; going to the mountains once is a curse, now that I know how good it is I want it.

The music (love chirstmas carols) and all the delicious things around.

Family is nice, but sometimes I get too much of mine.

Me, I'm not as interested in gifts as I used to be (although I will be wanting a couple things). I like the weather, even though we don't get snow, although we do get a lot of rain. I think what I like best about Christmas are the all-day movie marathons my girlfriend and friends and I have when the weather gets really crappy. Those are the best.

I like the attitude surrounding it. And as much as I love Halloween, it's just not as anticipated, and there's no "aura" surrounding it, you know what I mean? Plus, New years quickly follows Xmas...So it's a double whammy happy time.
