Default What movies are you looking forward to? Rate from 1-10

Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay (25 April) - 10/10 (Anyone who's watched the first one knows that this is the only comedy this year that will not disappoint)

Iron Man (May 2) - 9/10 (Good to see a new franchise starting)

Speed Racer (May 8) - 3/10 (I have this niggling fear that it's gonna suck even if they stay true to the insane original anime)

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (May 16) - 8/10 (First one was pretty good. And anyone who's read the books will tell you it only gets better.)

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (May 22) - 10/10 (Though I expect to be severely disappointed)

The Incredible Hulk (June 13) - 5/10 (It can't be worst than the first one... at least I hope not)

WALL·E (June 27) - 2/10 (Pixar, meh. They haven't had an original idea since the 1st Shrek. This one looks like a cross between Robots & E.T.)

Hancock (July 2) - 9/10 (Even if it sucks, the name is bound to keep me laughing like a schoolboy for 2 hours)

Hellboy II: The Golden Army (July 11) - 7/10 ("Hellboy" is a favorite of mine & Guillermo has great visual style. Still, they don't have much to work with)

The Dark Knight (July 18) - 10/10 (Love that Joker.)

The X-Files: I Want to Believe (July 25) - 10/10 (Frikkin' A! I grew up on Moler and Scully)

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (August 1) - 6/10 (Good God! Why isn't this series dead yet? It is? ohhh...)

Pineapple Express (August 8) - 7/10 ("A stoner and his dealer are forced to go on the run from the police after the pothead witnesses a cop commit a murder." Okay, so it's a corny idea, but I still wanna watch)

Tropic Thunder (August 15) - 9/10 (Not really. I expect this to suck ass. But that's precisely why I wanna watch it so badly)

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (August 15) - 7/10 (The Star Wars fan in me really thinks this film is a terrible idea. The series is good where it is and should be preserved, like a historic monument. The rest of me is positively wide-eyed at the prospect of another good movie for '08)

Quantum of Solace (November 7) - 10/10 (It's James frikkin' Bond, dude! You know it's gonna be the same story retold for the 20th time, but you just don't care)

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (November 21) - 5/10 (I know this is a soft spot for some, but there's a pedophilic tone to the series. Sorry.)

EDIT

War, Inc. (May 23) - 9/10 (A political satire along the lines of "Thank You for Smoking" starring John Cusack? I'm in)

Postal (May 23) - 10/10 ( Uwe Boll is the only director that I would be disappointed if his movie didn't suck.)

Sex and the City: The Movie (May 30) - 2/10 (This is like the Women's Rambo. That said, I would never force my girlfriend to see Rambo with me *hint hint*)

You Don't Mess with the Zohan (June 6) - 6/10 (I miss Adam Sandler on the screen. That said, his movies are usually a one-time watch, and I'm growing tired of all the hair movies.)

Mongol (June 6) - 8/10 (Anything based on Ghengis Khan has my seal of approval. That said, this is more of a Winter release than a summer movie)

Kung Fu Panda (June 6) - 8/10 (Ahh, why not.)

Get Smart (June 20) - 9/10 (Don't give me that! He's Perfect!)

The Love Guru (June 20) - 5/10 (I'm all for another Mike Myers movie, but talk about played out movie ideas. It's like everyone in a slump jumps to hair or guru movies. Look at Eddie Murphy.

Wanted (June 27) - 10/10 (I haven't even looked at the trailer, but Angelina Jolie could be in Alone in the Dark 2 and I'd still rate it 10/10)

The Wackness (July 3) - 5/10 (Good idea, I suppose, but nothing more)

Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D (July 11) - 3/10 (I can only take so much of Brendan Fraser per summer)

Meet Dave (July 11) - 3/10 (Good God! Why did you people have to go see Norbit? This guy actually thinks he's a star again.)

Mamma Mia!(July 18) - 0/10 (No. No, no, no. I'm all for musicals, but a themed musical with only ABBA music? Leave this mess on Broadway.)

Space Chimps(July 18) - 7/10 ( Space Cowboys meets Planet of the Apes. I like.)

Swing Vote (August 1) - 4/10 ( My anticipation was through the roof until I saw some stills. It looks like a "Welcome to Mooseport 2." Except no Ray Romano to laugh at)

The Midnight Meat Train (August 1) - 4/10 ( Given the recent quality of horror/thrillers coming out, I expect this to be a yawn)

The Accidental Husband (August 22) - 1/10 (Umm... no.)

Babylon(August 29) - 1/10 (The first of Vin Diesel's nightmare projects. lulz)

College(August 29) - 2/10 (Super bad Superbad ripoff.)

The International (WAS coming out Aug 15, pushed back like Bill Cosby's hairline) - 10/10 ( Clive Owen and Tom Tykwer [guy who directed Run Lola Run]? Hells ya! Finally the world will see what could've/should've been the next Bond.)

I honestly have no idea, I don't keep up with whats coming out. The ones I want to see are on there, The Dark Knight, the new Harry Potter, Iron Man, The Hulk, Hellboy 2, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (though it'll suck as bad as the latest three I'm sure)

Harold and Kumar is kind of my guilty pleasure, kind of not. I don't know whether I should feel bad about liking it or not.

Yes

I wonder what will win best picture next year. It's usually hard to tell which ones will be the "big" films.

Even acclaimed reviewers gave the new one a decent score. It's not entirely a stoner movie, and it's not all stoner humor. I mean the theater was packed and there was no way everyone in there could strictly be labeled as a stoner.

Oh, yes, I'll just be honest with you.
That's the one I've been excited for.
Well, I got checked out of school early today to go and see it.
I loved it so much.
I only just got back and I could really go back and watch it again right now.
Actually, I would love to.

And I think it was way better than the first one!

My mom and Amber and I can't agree on who's cutest, though. :X

My friend and I saw it and the credits were rolling for like three minutes so we just decided to leave.
