Yea, definitely lift some dumbbells. (Glad to see my thread has grown =D)
I'd also run a few miles everyday. That's the only way I know on how to build up endurance and speed. It also strengthens your Stamina, if you play any sports that comes in handy. As for your fingers, I dunno, I don't see finger strength that important.. For me anyway.

I feel so primitive, you guys are into martial arts and judo and stuff. I'm just into boxing; It's much more practical in a street fight. If you've ever sparred/fought a boxer, you'd know how hard it is to actual hit them. If someone points a gun at your head you're not gonna be able to flip them over your shoulder and shit.

Personally, I'd rather not need to fight in my life. Parkour is appealing because it's flowing. Out of all the forms of hand-to-hand combat however, kenpo seems to be the most versatile.

Definitely more versatile, yeah, I agree, but boxing isn't an art; It's a sport. Sure, there's Judo and Kenpo tournaments but boxing is where it's at. And when someone attacks you from behind, that's true, you can't punch backwards lol
But in my high school, there was a lot of pushing and shoving, and some of it leads to fights. That's how it ended up for me.

Most fights now are pushing and shoving which escalates into fists. The most epic thing I've ever heard about however, was when this kid roundhouse kicked this other guy who'd been throwing beans at him and calling him racist names. The dumb shit got completely owned, had to have reconstructive surgery on his jaw and everything.

The only weapon I ever use in an actual street fight is the killer headbutt. It has served me well.

I like Bartitsu, the main appeal being that it is the only martial art that requires practitioners to grow large mustaches.

Fair enough. If you're charging into the guy with a headbutt it probably won't land, though.

If you're using more of a 'hammer motion', damn that's gonna hurt lol
Oh, by the way, can someone send me some casino cash? I keep blowing it all off when I play blackjack.

I do not like kung-flu as it is the only martial art that gives people flu.

Nah, it's legit. A lot of people think that it wasn't a real martial art because it's never really been shown in popular culture beyond beyond the Sherlock Holmes series.

K.
This thread was meant for boxing discussion, but it obviously got a bit off topic.
