Which Camera?

Hey guys, I was just thinking about getting a pretty high-grade digital camera for christmas, and was wondering which camera would be the best!

Here are the limits on price and whatnot
(Well, price only)
Under $600

You know, something like a Canon Rebel. (I'm using a non-digital version right now)

heres a cannon 7.1 megapixel. $350. 7.1MP = all you will ever need. digital cameras take pictures usually at 4:3 ratio. so your looking at an image thats 3072x2304 or so. YEAH, damn good.

Thanks for finding it, but I should have been more detailed. I want one with a detatchable lens, Like the Nikon D70, Or the Canon Eos 20D.
Detatchable lenses. (By the way, 7.1 mp really isn't that much. it's a lot, but not the type of quality I'm looking for)

umm. why would you need more quality than a picure 2.8 times as long as your screen? just asking.

I found a rebel EOS on ebay, for $97.00. It's still on auction, but i'm watching it. Thanks for the help, napalm.
