Default Went to my local retro game store today

I purchased a NEC TurboGrafx 16 with a copy of Bonk's Revenge. I also got a few boxed Atari 2600 games for $0.99 each like the infamous E.T.

On the NES I purchased RoboWarrior and Orb 3D(still has the glasses) in the box, and both of which were only a few dollars each. I haven't played either game but I imagine they're both terrible as they were so cheap. I got a copy of Pitfall for the Genesis for $1 in the box even though I do not currently own a Genesis.

I also bought two boxed Odyssey˛ games, both for $1 even though I don't own an Odyssey˛ and have no plans on getting one. It's K.C.'s Krazy Chase! and I guess a 3-in-1 game that includes Speedway!, Spin-Out!, and Crypto-Logic!

Anyone else own a TurboGrafx? I'm not really sure what games I should get next but they'll most likely have to be from Ebay.

Can't say I've ever owned one. My family and I have never really gone outside the big, mainstream consoles (except maybe the 32x), so you're outside my realm of knowledge now.

Nah, I never owned a TurboGrafx. I'd say you should get Splatterhouse.

I already own Battletoads, so I didn't check to see if they had it.

I purchased a copy of Blazing Lasers for the TurboGrafx on Ebay the other day. I'm still considering a few other games like Splatterhouse, but I'm not in a rush to build up a TurboGrafx library.

Especially considering you can emulate pretty much all of them.

If I can play it on the original system without spending too much, I generally prefer to avoid emulators.

Seconded. I'm not really sure why, but emulators simply don't provide the same feeling as playing on the original systems.

Well, I got my copy of Blazing Lasers today and it's a pretty fun shmup, even though I'm not a huge fan of the genre. I felt like I had to own at least one though as the system was mainly known for them.
