Did you try to open the task mananger through Ctrl+Alt+Delete and then did you try to run explorer.exe through there?

Did you recently install any new drivers? What was the last thing you did on your PC before you had this problem?

You could also try it in safe mode to see what's going on with your computer, like scan it for viruses through safe mode which will save you system restoring and losing work.

explorer is just the visible part of the windows UI. You could have a corrupted Shell.dll or shell32.dll.

Hack is such a loosely used term these days that you could say you 'hacked' someone's computer by changing their background image to a gay man in a thong.

Isn't the proper definition of the word hack to change the code of a program?

Hacking is like safe cracking, people use the word hack far too much now for dumb reasons like somebody who cheats in a game thinks there a hacker lmao every time when i hear that.

Hmm...well at least you did that, but now that problem would be the fact that the viruses got your stuff before you could save your computer.
