Xbox portable?

has anyone heard the rumor that xbox are bringing out a portable consle like the psp and ds, cause a m8 told me bout it and i haven't heard anything, so i just wondered if anyone here heard something

I think that that is just a rumor.

its gonna piss me off when microsoft monopolizes the gaming industry. I love x box and everything but i gottta stick with my roots in sony and nintendo.

Why not a Nintendo console hooked up to a Sony TV? just a suggestion.

Nintendo has been out the longest and will out last the sony and microsoft gaming consoles becayse of the diehard nintendo fans there are more of us then you and if the three tried to make one together that would suck because the other two would stuff up nintendo's brilliance and if microsoft released a handheld system they would only do it the same reason sony did to catch up on the competition Nintendo and crummy old sony in summary

Hi guys.I think that every1 has a point but micro will never lose it flame.As long as it have xbox live no1 can come close to it becuase it dominating the gaming world and alot of corps notice that and making a tranfer to micro for example ff11 for live and the for other corps like team ninja put out games like doa they wont go out.Same goes for ps2 like ff series,gta,teken,metal gear series,etc.For nentendo we got the mario series like mario party,pokemon,metriod,and the other classic games.And also nentendo & sony wont go becuase every1 in japan love that system and hate micro but here in America we love it so its a 50/50.I say the best bet to go for is mirco becuase billy bill got lots of cash to spend.loll.If u really look @ it i say they all got their only style like sony has alot of rpg then other micro has more shooten and mecha and cube has like adventure-kiddish games but also serious ones too.But ima ff & xbox fan all the way.

Ok, news just in. Microsoft is most likely planning to release a portable in 2007 to combat the PSP and DS.
