I would much rather be snow blowing 2 feet of overnight snow on a snowday than have no snow at all.

Ha Ha! And I mean "ha ha" not in a joyful way but in an expression of contempt. My friend visits Florida during the summer which is where the rest of is family lives. He says that it's so hot that if you walk barefoot on the street, you'll get burned.

Its the same here, you cannot walk anywhere no matter the season with no shoes, its too hot, and you will get burnt feet, also you always have to out sun block on or you're screwed.

We do get days off school because of the weather, This years winter has been the coldest that south Africa has ever seen in about 27 years, it snowed, (this was like totally amazing ans will go down in history) and we got the day off school cos it was too cold. no jokes. I hate winter, cos my school uniform is shit and i have arthritise and it sucks cos my bones hurt really bad.
but I get special treatment at school =)

I hate walking barefoot for some reason. Partly, because it's cold alot where I live and I hate the feeling of dirt and crap sticking to the bottom of my feet.

I have soccer cleat-callouses. The bottom of my feet are so hard in some spots that I couldn't even put a pushpin through them.

Anyhow, I lol at all of you who have 'snow' days. I'm off school all this week. Plus we usually have a snow (or ice, whatever) day right around Valentine's day, so it's all good.

As for me, I spent all day inside ripping movies to my iPod and watching some of them. And baking cookies.
