I'm good, but I don't "love" it.
chetan 01-18-2007, 02:38 AM dear exel...do you remember any funny or memorable incident about your maths(or any subject) examination
Yep.. last year. I thought i forgot my summary notes, and everyone was like "you're gonna fail, you're gonna fail". Turns out, I get the 2nd highest mark in my class. And my summary notes were hidden under my bag.
I get good marks in it, my class is good and I have a good maths teacher but it's not my favourite subject.
happylittleClayFox 01-18-2007, 10:24 AM I like algebra but that's it really, the rest isn't abstract enough for me :)
Drunken_Shinobi 01-18-2007, 11:06 PM I like and hate math, but I mostly hate it.
The Perfect Seven 01-19-2007, 10:58 PM I liked geometry. That's about it
I like algebra.
But to me finding things about math funny is kinda creepy. If you do then kudos to you, I'll just stay away from you in the supermarket.
chetan 01-20-2007, 01:11 AM okay guys.....................what about maths teachers???
i think every maths teacher i faced in life was a phyco....from 1st standard to my degree........every maths teacher was an exterme....one was very very calm while other was just a devil.............he did nothing but to shout & scream
.....even two classes nearby could hear him teaching(?)
is it same about you guys................do you think only phycos are maths & science proffesors
My year 7 maths teach was a dumb fuck and a curry muncher, then I changed classes into a dirty pedo's maths class. This year I was in a dick head's class then I moved to a class with a good teacher.
Also I didn't know they had schools in India as it is such a poor nation.
Frookie 01-20-2007, 11:17 AM I really enjoy calculus only because I understand it and the fact that most of my class doesn't :P
Willy_Wonka 01-20-2007, 12:16 PM is it maths or math?
anyway, MATHEMATICS isnt my best subject (low A's) but i think its okay. I hate converting numbers like 0.666... to a fraction. its so annoying.

That's too bad for you, most of the math teachers I had were not crazy. They were really strict or they were kind of funny and nice.

it hurts when someone calls your country poor
by the way ,india is only the fourth nation to have a technology to send and recover space capsule..successfully

I know, India is still a 3rd world nation.
chetan 01-25-2007, 06:02 AM turning on to maths
if 1 devided by 2= 0.5
that mean, if we broke 1 into 2 then each section =o.5
then is this right that
1 devided by 0=1 bcoz we broke 1 into 0 part (means we did'nt brake it)
so...1/0 is then not equal to infinity
The Perfect Seven 01-26-2007, 05:53 PM 1/0 was never equal to infinity...
Willy_Wonka 01-27-2007, 11:38 PM duud, hes SERIOUSLY from india? wellwellwellwellWELL!
sorray

I'd like to see that happen.

They already quiver in fear of him.
MrNaPaLm32 02-01-2007, 08:17 PM They already quiver in fear of him.You is plural as well as singular, I was obviously referring to his country.

I wonder who it was that said, "The internet isn't an english classroom."?
Natus Lumen 02-02-2007, 08:33 PM Math...it really isn't much of a challenge until you get to precal and calculus. But algebra and geometry are moderately to very easy. Unless you're determined to make it difficult for yourself, as I was at one point.
My lowest grade right now is in keyboarding class. I have a 92. Can you believe that?
My lowest grade is English...How that happened, I have no idea. Oh well, only an 87.
MrNaPaLm32 02-07-2007, 12:24 AM I wish I was that dedicated.

That makes one of us who actually tries.

My English teacher is so freaking hard. Don't feel bad about doing (relatively) badly in that class. I just got the final test over our "Odyssey" unit back, and I had a 66. I have to do so much extra credit in that class to keep my average....
chetan 02-10-2007, 08:35 AM dear guys,
i assume that all of you know the topic--'limit' reffered to calculas..
for example--
lim x+ab = infinity ............or something liken that
x-->0
can anyone tell me...what is exact practical use of this concept

Lol, you're 16 and he's an adult, yet you're smarter than him : O.

Yeah...I'm kind of thinking that too.
