I hate them all, because they're nothing compared to the Japanese horror movies.

Shinobi, please... you ONLY like them because they're from Japan. Their horror flicks are about as scary as this (http://www.camelotbears.com/images/aurora_comfy_pink.jpg). None of that "subtle" crap for me... I wanna see people get chopped up!

Go watch the Grudge and the Ring, which were originally JAPANESE. Case and point.

Yes, I know. I hate both versions of both.

No, I like them because they actually scare me, unlike Jason...I'd probably watch that because of the fun of watching people getting chopped to pieces. The point of scary movies was to scare the crap out of somebody, but at the same time entertain them. If a scary movie can't give a scary mood then why is it a horror movie in the first place?

I dunno... but Japanese horror flicks just simply don't move me... maybe if I search far and wide there'll be one out there that will actually leave chills down my spine. Perhaps once I finally can't tell that the stuff on their faces is make-up I'll be satisfied.

Whatever, well that's what you think, he should've at least included more horror films other than three American "horror" flicks.

The question was which movie we liked the most. It doesn't neccesarily have to scare you most.

Well, Jason and Freddy, are classics but I don't really like them the most.

Some of the scenes are actually funny, and it's funny how they don't run away. But instead, they stick around and say, "Hello? Is anybody there?" Only to get chopped by Jason or Freddy, which makes it kind of not as scary because if they stayed there you could obviously guess they'll get killed by Jason or Freddy.

My favorite type horror films are old ones, especially ones with Vincent Price and Peter Lorre.
Favorite Vincent Price films:
The House on Haunted Hill
The Last Man on Earth
The Raven (not a horror film, but pretty damn funny)
and of course, House of Wax

I also like The Exorcist because I know (make that knew) Jason Miller, the guy who played the exorcist. He was from Scranton, and he still haunts The Northeast Theatre where I often act (he died during rehersal one day).
Pretty neat huh?

IMO, The Exorcist is the best horror movie.
