That's right, it's cricket! The Ashes have started and Australia's going good, although Hayden went out for 21 -_-.

EDIT: Can someone fix my title?

I have had exactly one experience with cricket: when last I was in London, there was a HUGE traffic jam in front of the cricket stadium.

c'mon aussie!!!!
Dude, ur scottish... how come u want aussie to win?

Oh, and just so u no, crickets where someone throws a ball at some sticks in the ground, and a guy with the bat thats very good for beating people up with hits the ball away (with the bat). If the ball's in the air, people on the other team try to catch the ball. If that happens the batter is 'out' (batter = person with bat, not the stuff which your fish is in). The batter runs between 2 sets of sticks, scoring 'runs'. There is a line running around the pitch, and if the ball rolls or bounces over it, the batter scores 4 runs. If the ball crosses the line without touching the ground, the batter scores 6 runs. But cricket sucks bigtime.

It's cause I don't like England or anything to do with England when it comes to sport or national events. I bet if Scotland were to play against Brazil at football (highly unlikely i know) you probably wouldn't want Scotland to win.

This, therefore, is my personal opinion, and like others who are entitled to theirs, I am entitled to mine.

Like I said in my previous post... C'Mon Aussie!!!

Cricket goes all the way back to about the time period when the Aztecs were playing that sport in the lowered pit where you try and get the rubber ball through the small metal hoop.

And you know how they got people to watch? The losing team was sacrificed to Ra on an altar.

No they expected it too, I watched "An Aussie goes Barmy" the Barmy Army wasn't too shocked.

It's the british cricket team supporters that yell and scream and sing at all of England's cricket matches.

Axel

But alas, they get nowhere.
