Well, I thought this would be a good time for a Revolutionary (?) update. I have some stuff I would like to share, as some things I found also.

First, I would like to congrat myself, for finding my <a class="link" href="http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/5671/dscn0309hh6.jpg">long lost cellphone</a> , Sony Ericsson w600i, which fell out of my pocket on Halloween night. It was buried deep in the grass on the other side of my neighborhood, with no battery life left in it. Since it rained, the battery was shot, but I bought a new one, and all seems well now.

I have a sony erricson also, and they are strong phones. My phone worked after burning it with a microscope, pulling off buttons, droping it, squishing it hard, etc. Sony has strong phones. Mine is ever like resistant to cracking on the screen. I can push on it hard with it cracking at all.

wow, really boring update, no offence, youve done some great ones before, but this one just isnt... good, the crazy video made me feel a slight urge to laugh, and the basketball and headspin videos both exemplify my hate for flash video (come on, am i the only person who recognizes quality over speed?)
overall it seems like you just posted stuff youve seen recently, and not stuff youve actually enjoyed seeing, glad you found your phone though

i want to apologize for saying this was "really boring" i forgot the "things you cant do" video, THAT was great, definitely worth the other mediocre videos just to see it, even though im sure alot of people have already seen it, you should put Barats and Berettas "Completely Uncalled For" in the next update

Although alot of people do recognize quality over speed, lots more recognise compatability aswell. not everyone can play WMV videos, due to being on an apple mac (yes, i know its possible, but not everyone decides 2 install the software for it). Flash is a way of giving EVERYONE a fair chance of viewing the vid (they just have to install the latest flash player). Compatability wins im afraid (sure..quality isnt 100%, but im sure GPrime wouldnt use it if the quality was absolute rubbish) also, alot of the time its the CAMERA's quality that is at fault, not the players

anything remotley connected to windows should be burnt *looks at his laptop* ok, most things connected to windows. Thing is, flash is compatable across most, if not all, platforms of Operating Systems. some apple mac users wont touch anything to do with windows, so they dont install anything that can de-code WMV files, too much connected wi Windows. Ye, quality may be better, but not compatable *looks back, thinks how much he has repeated himself, but cant be botherd to re-word it* unfortuneatly, out of quality, size, and compatabilty, on websites trying to get as many hits as possible, compatability wins

**ADDED**

in the end, everysite should have various formats (abit like break.com) they have it set up so that you can choose whether you watch their vids in WMP format or Flash format. Trouble is, this means having two formats on your server, and you quickly run out of server space

you'l also find sites like killsometime.com (who have been sticking with WMV/MPG files for months) have also seen the advantage of flash players and recently changed formats. no matter what we do/want, flash will win.

p.s. GPrime is still the best!! im not trying to advertise the other sites, just using them as examples. Gprime still went across to Flash first, which means everyone copied them :)

Also, it takes all of 10 seconds to update your flash player, all it needs to do is install a plugin to your browser. Seriously, it takes 10 seconds, tops.

I just want to give my opinion on the update lately.
Although it's so much nice to have many more updates than before, I think the quality of the updates are getting worse every time. No offence intended of course, but I think that it's kind of normal, too fast the update, not too many choices, so you have to put some stuff that isn't that "special".
How to survive pms : was nice, I enjoyed it.
your crazy : pointless and stupid as most of you already said
things you can't do without a pool : SO pointless, and SO stupid, hate it, worse than your crazy
ingame basketball back-dunk : too bad quality but didn't really see the point of putting that in the update, I mean.. nothing really special, we probably seen 1000s like this in real life...
breakdance headspin expert : was cool, bad quality but worth being in the update.
The lucky video : was great! definitely 'gprime' material.

Now about the flash/wmv issue, I understand all your points, I also HATE flash videos, because, first, it's not easy to download (I always downloaded all videos to my pc), and the player is SO unusable.. I mean, I can't seek in the file! I don't know if it's a 'compatibility' issue with Opera browser, but I wanted to see a part of that lucky video, but had to review the whole thing from the beggining, and I missed it again, I just can't seek, on any video and that's since the conversion to flash. Also, I ALWAYS put my videos full screen when it was wmv, now I can't, so it's really a VERY annoying thing. The WMV compatibility issue is fully understandable but if it was mpeg video it would work well, and on all platforms, and you can embed an mpeg video with the windows media player activeX, no ? also, flash also has its own compatibility issues too as well as the reverse engineering of a specific version of the FLV codec for Linux platforms is not complete, I know a couple of websites I can't access in linux even if they use flash video, because the codec is not available for that platform...
My best advice would be to embed windows media player but make it play an mpeg file, this way mplayer can take over in linux and play the file and it would probably also work on Mac. The size of the file would be bigger though.. I think, not sure. Second alternative would be to offer flash AND mpeg choice, because gprime on flash has been killing me since it got used for the first time.

flash is more compatable than Windows Media Video, and to be honest, what you have said is the first example of flash IN-compatability that i have heard of. the browser you use shldnt alter the compatability tht much (i may be wrong) but your Operating system obviously would. I use Microsofts Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, and my gf uses Sarfari i think (dont quote me on tht) on an Apple Mac, n Gprime works the exact same on em all.

but, ya do have some good points!!

Man, first people are complaining we don't get consistent updates, then when we are they complain about the quality. Stop complaining!

lol, sorry, I didn't mean to complain in a bad way. I was merely sharing my experience and opinion on the subject.
About flash player, I agree, it would need an update. about the incompatibility, I don't know, I didn't try gprime.net, but I did try some other website with flash videos and they didn't work on Linux (not windows, not mac) because the FLV codec (version 2 I think) wasn't available for that platform and noone reverse engineered the codec yet in order to play it with the usual media players.
Other complain about flash was the full screen one. The rest is all good.
Keep it up, and sorry about that long post.
