My favorite holiday is in 5 days. That's right, I'm talking about Días de los Muertos. In honor of this (and my undying love of Michael Jackson's "Thriller") I have to share this little jem with you all. If you loved Thriller, you'll love this. If you hated Thriller, you might love this even more.

I'm almost sure that "No llego a la fiesta de pantilones" means "I don't arrive to the pantilones' party". Or it's "pantallon"=pants?
-->>the movie: Scary, corny (I learned a new word!) and crazy.

Yep, it basically means "I am not arriving to the party of pants"

Day of the Dead is actually Nov 1-2, NOT October 31, though surrounding days are usually included in the picture, Nov 1 (All Saints' Day) and Nov 2 (All Souls' Day) are the actual dates of the holiday... you're confusing two COMPLETELY different holidays...

agreed. quit insulting my heritage by giving out false information dp.

Actually, I'm not. If you noticed I said "Dias de los muertos" meaning Days of the dead, I'm not stupid and I'm certainly not confusing 2 separate holidays. No knife you dumbass, I'm Mexican, and probably unlike you I actually DO celebrate my heritage's holidays, I can honestly say that I probably know much more about it than you.

EDIT: Know I see what this is all about. I made two typos, big whoop. Because I mistakenly typed 4 instead of 5 and left of an 's' suddenly I'm an idiot who knows nothing of my own freaking heritage? For Christ's sake don't you people have any faith in me at all?!
no knife, be quiet. Do you even celebrate Dias de los muertos? Do you go to your family plot in the cemetary once a year to leave homemade sweet bread and flowers? Do you look forward to candied skulls all year? Have you ever made a papier mache calaca? (in case you don't know, those are those skeletons you see often associated with the days of the dead)
I doubt it, I seriously doubt it. I take hy heritage very seriously, and I won't have anybody acting like I know nothing about it.

Number one: What you intended to say and what you actually posted are two completely different things. You completely butchered your statement rendering us to believe that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Number two: It's a well known fact that English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, so your attempt at correcting our conceptions about language usage are void.

Number Three: Of COURSE that information is estimated! Do you honestly expect anybody to take a complete poll of the entire world's population every second of every day? NO! That's utterly absurd! Facts and figures are extremely hard to keep completly accurate, on a global scale its impossible.

Number four: Oh silly me, I forgot! You are a very clever person I must admit, such talent you must have to be able to deduce that I am as low on the proverbial food chain as you are. I am clearly a much bigger idiot than you, and have no right to speak of your intellectual capabilities. Forgive me my fellow dunce, for I have spoken ill of the brotherhood of grammatical retardation.

EDIT: I have just read over this post and found it to be quite nasty. Forgive me my fellow g-users, I am not known as a cruel person.
