I may be mistaken, but I think that's an old ukrainian folk song.
(The music, not necessarily the lyrics, those are just random gibberish I think)

No. It's a song called "Ievas Polka", by the group "Loituma". Google/Youtube :D

Well the music sounds oddly similar to a ukrainian folk song that I know...damn I can't remember the name.

That thing is hypnotic! Look at this!
"You've been spinning for 0:39:05."

AHHH! I've been watching a girl spin a leek for almost 40 minutes!!!

The song and the author are finnish :P The words in the leekspin flash are complete gibberish, but the other parts of the song `Ieva's polka´ are in Finnish.
Go Finland! :D And, for some 6 months ago I spent a whole day listening to the flash, and sometimes noticed having stared at it quite a while :D

It seems like it is repeating, but I always hear something new every other minute!

Currently at 6. I'm not turning it off ether, it is catchy! I'll keep my computer on all night for 5 weeks, and then the next day in the morning before school I'll be like

" Hmm, I havn't checked in 5 weeks. Lets see the time"

Then I'd relalize it was on 4, because it ended and reset! :(

It's a ~300kb 26 second loop. Very fluid, but I'm positive. :]

Nice find! Considering my (or my friend's) church (http://www.oasisofcare.org) sang Israeli / Yiddish polka English songs interspersed with hymns throughout the worship session during the service last Sunday.
(I think the worship leading chick there has a soft spot for these types of songs too, and she was dancing and whooping throughout)

Yeah! Let's dance! Dance! Dance to the Lord! Wooo! (Although the lyrics might not mean something nice)

I leave the full song on loop for hours at a time. It's incredibly relaxing, as I like the acapella sound.

Actually, the loop isn't translatable. It's improvised gibberish, kine of like scatting in jazz music.

Lol, yeah it's a 26 second loop, but it will sound different, or does to most people. Listen to the whole song too, it's just as addictive.

That's nowhere near Finnish :D And may I repeat: the lyrics are total gibberish, the only comprehensable words are "Kirikan kukka" = the flower of Kirikka (a place or something) and "Kurikan kuu" = the moon of Kurikka (that's a place). So, no Anguricancù or Caeachiridangù here :)
