No, it said that they tried burning it with phosphoric acids, diesel fuel, etc. But napalm would have done the trick. It creates no fumes except those of gasoline and cooked styrofoam.

And napalm is a completely different substance, the styrofoam bonds with the hydrocarbons, therefore it doesnt smell like styrofoam.

and FYI, diesel burns at 570 F, whereas phospherous based incindiaries burn at 5000 F. I dont think the napalm would have helped that much.
