Today, Sunday 15th Oct, I played in my 1st Air Training Corps football competition at HMS Caledonia near to Rosyth and outside Dunfermline. I was playing as part of Dundee (my city) and Central Scotland, as each part of Scotland is divided into wings. We played a total of four games, one each against Glasgow wing, Edinburgh and South Scotland, N.Ireland and Aberdeen. We won 1, drew 1 and lost 2. So overall we didnt do that well.

But our goal keeper and two of out strikers were outstanding and along with myself were chosen to play for Scotland in the regional competition down at Cosford in November. We travel down on a Friday (I get a day off school for that), play the games on Saturday against England and Wales and come home on the same day. The next day I have Air Experience Flying out of RAF Leuchars at 0830hrs.

So I have a really busy weekend then, but with lots to look forward to.
