I have nothing against blondes, it was just in the pictures I found.

The last image's link is http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h116/anageth/math1.jpg since I'm limited to having four images as of right now, since this is my first post o_O.

MrNaPaLm32 10-15-2006, 05:45 PM the top one made me laugh.
Drunken_Shinobi 10-16-2006, 01:27 AM Brilliant.
Frookie 10-16-2006, 05:17 PM lol, now for the real answers
(a+b)^n = a^n + 2ab + b^n
side length is 5
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
3^2 + 4^2 = c^2
9 + 16 = c^2
25 = c^2
5 = c
Drunken_Shinobi 10-16-2006, 06:35 PM It would be funnier if we just left it that way.
Frookie 10-16-2006, 10:03 PM technically, they're both correct answers, seeing as how they're not specified in whether or not you need numerical answers or to prove that you know how to expand functions
MrNaPaLm32 10-16-2006, 10:50 PM lol, now for the real answers
(a+b)^n = a^n + 2ab + b^n
side length is 5
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
3^2 + 4^2 = c^2
9 + 16 = c^2
25 = c^2
5 = cI'm happy that you can perform algebra level 1.
Frookie 10-16-2006, 11:05 PM be happy that I'm in Calculus and shove that up your ass
MrNaPaLm32 10-16-2006, 11:08 PM be happy that I'm in Calculus and shove that up your assI'm a grade lower than you, and am in Trig/Pre Calc. Have a nice day.
Frookie 10-16-2006, 11:24 PM no wai!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TheSerene 10-16-2006, 11:49 PM I'm a grade lower than you, and am in Trig/Pre Calc. Have a nice day.
I’m 13, in 9th grade, and doing Pre-Cal.
Now random pedophiles are going to trace my location through my IP address.
MrNaPaLm32 10-17-2006, 12:09 AM no wai!!!!!!!!!!!!!find the critical points of the following equation:
X^3-2x^2+3x-7
including
local max-min
points of inflection
and all end behaviors
treefalse 10-17-2006, 12:14 AM I should have been in Geometry in 8th grade. I fall asleep in class now... It's incredibly easy.
MrNaPaLm32 10-17-2006, 01:23 AM frookie gave up on my problem.
Frookie stfu, just cos you're older than everyone doesn't mean you have to act like a smartass all the time.
no knife 10-17-2006, 04:18 PM haha you're taking cal I frookie? i tested out of it.
Drunken_Shinobi 10-17-2006, 07:26 PM I can admit I suck at math so that's one "un-frookie" like thing I'm going to do. Not brag about how advanced my math is.
Zetex 10-17-2006, 07:32 PM That math is not even advanced. I learned that in 7th grade...
Drunken_Shinobi 10-17-2006, 07:35 PM The bottom part is....the math on the top may be slightly more advanced than 7th grade math, unless you're in a program that's for super smart kids that makes "GATE" look like kindergarden.
I can admit I suck at math so that's one "un-frookie" like thing I'm going to do. Not brag about how advanced my math is.
You know how hard I find that to believe?!?!?!

Aww Frookie did you figure that one out all by yourself? Everyone knows, so you don't need to try and show everyone up.
Drunken_Shinobi 10-18-2006, 09:27 PM You know how hard I find that to believe?!?!?!
Are you attempting to use sarcasm here?
No, sorry I'm sorta stereotyping here as pretty much every Asian I know is good at Maths.
Drunken_Shinobi 10-19-2006, 10:51 PM No, sorry I'm sorta stereotyping here as pretty much every Asian I know is good at Maths.
I used to be good at math, but now I'm not that good.
Drunken_Shinobi 10-21-2006, 10:12 PM It's the fact that math gets harder and I didn't catch on.
Funny, I always seem to be ahead, no matter how advanced Maths gets.
Drunken_Shinobi 10-23-2006, 12:25 AM It's the fact I have to actually study and pay attention to my teacher who is boring most of the time. Most of the time I feel like falling asleep.
treefalse 10-23-2006, 01:12 AM I can't know what I haven't learned. I could teach myself higher math if I wanted to.
mehere 10-27-2006, 03:06 AM lol, now for the real answers
(a+b)^n = a^n + 2ab + b^n
No offense, but that only works for n=2. The correct solution would be the derivation of Pascal's triangle. A decent reference for polynomial expansion can be found on wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polynomial_expansion).

bald muffin 10-28-2006, 08:23 PM Heh, nice images, I LOLed.
...AP Statistics FTW? :o
Drunken_Shinobi 10-28-2006, 08:28 PM Uh...sure.
Natus Lumen 10-28-2006, 09:55 PM I suck at math in all forms and fashions. I have A's in pretty much all of my classes except Algebra 1 (9th grade), which I am barely scraping a B. And Biology, which is my next worst subject. I did a test, and I found out that my mind doesn't comprehend complicated patterns and equations very well, which take much place in things like slope and other equations, and photosynthesis and cellular respirations. I'm good at philosophy, psychology, English and Spanish, though, and impartial to most other sublects, so I'm okay.
Drunken_Shinobi 10-28-2006, 10:54 PM If you suck at math make sure you don't sign up for Chemistry next year, that has a lot of math in it.
Natus Lumen 10-28-2006, 11:47 PM There really isn't any science that you can take that doesn't involve a lot of math. The only one I can think of is my bio teacher's APES class (AP Environmental Science) which I can't take until I'm a senior, and it still seems really hard. Even so, chemistry is required for sophomores, I think.
MrNaPaLm32 10-29-2006, 12:00 AM If you suck at math make sure you don't sign up for Chemistry next year, that has a lot of math in it.you call DIM/Analysis a lot of math? you havent seen math until you take AP physics.
If you suck at math make sure you don't sign up for Chemistry next year, that has a lot of math in it.
I'm guessing you found out the hard way?
Natus Lumen 10-29-2006, 10:32 AM you call DIM/Analysis a lot of math? you havent seen math until you take AP physics.
My brother took that class along with AP pre-cal. He had a nervous breakdown after the first few days.
Drunken_Shinobi 10-29-2006, 01:28 PM I'm guessing you found out the hard way?
Kind of...but I have a feeling that I might just suck this year.
