And I need to know something:

If I posted the backstory here on gprime, would anyone take even a little time to read it and give me some feedback? It would take a ridiculous amount of post space, mind. And I'm not going to bother if nobody's going to read it. I haven't let anyone read it yet, but I'm sending it to a literary agent who's a friend of my mom's for professional criticism.

I'll read it! But I already told you that. I bet you're more talented than me. :happy:

Heh. Thanks, I guess. I'm thinking that I'll just scan the files into my computer and experiment with that some. My handwriting's atrocious, so that could be a major setback.

And by the way, I used to love your profile song back in like 5th grade. It's really quite awesome.

Mind, I had no idea what he was saying.

I read/preview/critique books before they're published as volunteer work at the local library. So, I'd be happy to read what you've got.
@Diamond: Awesome user title. XD

I like backstories, btw, I'm working on a series, and I'm working on chapter 1 for the first book now as it is

Wow. The first step in a long journey is always the hardest.

actually it's really the middle, you can't really put filler in if you want it to be a success

That's true, unless your only talent is writing and you can't do anything else to make money except work in a gas station or sell weed. No, that isn't the case with me, nor with anyone I actually know. I just write because I have all these stories coming out of my head and want to know if they're any good. But there are, what? 7 rich writers in the U.S.? If you want sucess, try doing something else.

I'm rewriting with the oh-so-enourmous amounts of constructive criticism I got. Attatched is the introduction. I think that it actually cuts off in mid-sentence, so bear with me here.

I don't have the time to read the whole thing at the moment, but from what I've read, it sounds like it needs to go back a bit further for the start, maybe. Or, rather, that the main plot starts too fast. *Hi, I'm the main character. OH, LOOK, MY QUEST LIES BEFORE ME!*
