MrNaPaLm32 09-07-2006, 09:23 AM I reckon you could've got more GHz but that's my opinion. Otherwise, very VERY nice.the Intel P4 Equivelant for my AMD is about 4.2GHz
Drunken_Shinobi 09-07-2006, 11:38 PM A lot of fans and a very powerful new computer I guess.
the Intel P4 Equivelant for my AMD is about 4.2GHz
In that case, I'm glad you got an AMD. Ayyyy.
Drunken_Shinobi 09-08-2006, 09:51 PM AMD CPUs are more better in gaming than Intels, and in my opinion, I just like to build computers with AMD CPUs rather than Intels.
MrNaPaLm32 09-08-2006, 10:07 PM AMD CPUs are more better in gaming than Intels, and in my opinion, I just like to build computers with AMD CPUs rather than Intels. They WERE, now Core 2 Duo can pwn all AMD dual core chips.
Drunken_Shinobi 09-08-2006, 10:08 PM Sigh...so Intel has actually caught on.
MrNaPaLm32 09-09-2006, 12:49 AM Sigh...so Intel has actually caught on.yeah, the tables have almost completely turned.
Drunken_Shinobi 09-09-2006, 05:12 PM Damn Intel and their "table-turning" techniques.
Sigh, damn Australia we're so far behind.
MrNaPaLm32 09-10-2006, 03:32 AM Sigh, damn Australia we're so far behind.Well, you are a long ways away.
Yes, we're always the last country to get the newest movies.
murderbydeath 09-10-2006, 12:32 PM how much is that costing you all together.
MrNaPaLm32 09-10-2006, 01:33 PM I havent added it up. A lot less than it would If I bought it from say alienware(dell).
It looks to be around $2500 on alienware.
Oh, and how come you bought a CRT?
NOWAK 10-04-2006, 07:26 AM Better for gaming, lcd type monitors may not have a low enough refresh rate and there could be ghosting. crts are still much better for gaming.
Drunken_Shinobi 10-04-2006, 11:01 PM CRTs are better, but the problem is that they're very big. So if you're a person that is going to a lot of LAN parties then you shouldn't really have a CRT.
No wonder my cousin with his uber leet computer has a CRT...
Drunken_Shinobi 10-05-2006, 10:26 PM Then again, if you don't mind carrying it then you can get the CRT if you want.
VooDoo 10-06-2006, 04:24 PM I'm gonna get an ati twin graphic card motherboard soon with, Yeah you guessed it.

Sadly :(
Natus Lumen 10-27-2007, 11:19 PM That is a nice setup. More hard drive space than a government organization could fill up, but hey. Bigger is always better.
Anyway, that pretty much pwns the average, everyday computer.
And what OS are you using? Mac OSX, Vista, or XP? Or Linux, which I doubt.
