Why's it called 2142?

because it takes place in the year 2142.

Sounds interesting, and it looks like they put a bit of stuff from the game Natural Selection.

I can get it, but theres hasn't been much talk about online with it so i haven't bothered getting the beta cause i only like playing online beta games.

ALSO incorrect because you see even if you dl the game you still need a fileplanet code to activate it. trust me on this there are no keygens or anything for it cause each number is made when user is made, AND a key may only be installed on one computer.

Beta testing isn't like it was before, Before it was all about testing the game out for free and getting feedback from the users (obviously) but now it's just another way for the publishers to make more money through there game before it's even released by making people subscribe to wesbites. SO anybody who bothers to get conned from these sites are totally dumb, and as for fileplanet i can't stand either cause they lie about games saying there good when they actually suck just to get money.

Yeah, it used to be that fileplanet was free. But now they made it subscriber only.
