A Core 2 Duo EE destroys the FX62 in performance while consuming a lot less power. Dual X1950XTXs would also be a better GPU setup and so far has outperformed the quad SLI setups by a good margin, so dual 7900GTXs would be nothing. Hope you don't like antialiasing with your HDR, because you won't get it outside of the Source games.

Alright, it's either a 15" or 17" CRT; SLI is useless if you're using a CRT monitor, especially a 15" or 17" one.
