I'm building my own computer for the first time and once i got everything in, I tired turning it on. Once I turned it on I heard a popping noise so i looked inside and part of the motherboard was on fire >:{

PUT FANS IN!No, it was just after he turned it on while building it. Motherboards rarely become overveated. It was a manufacturing error. Zetex 08-04-2006, 09:41 PM i returned it and got a new one, now its working, yay :D but just my luck, newegg sent me a broken x850xt or UPS played soccer with the box, either way its still broken so im stuck with my old mx 4000 Drunken_Shinobi 08-09-2006, 10:21 PM Hmm...you should insure the package before it comes in or try to replace it with newegg. Maybe you'll get your video card back. |
