I'm building my own computer for the first time and once i got everything in, I tired turning it on. Once I turned it on I heard a popping noise so i looked inside and part of the motherboard was on fire >:{

Aside from laughing hysterically, the only help I can offer is that you need more cooling. MUCH MUCH MORE FANS!! PUT FANS IN!

i returned it and got a new one, now its working, yay :D
but just my luck, newegg sent me a broken x850xt or UPS played soccer with the box, either way its still broken so im stuck with my old mx 4000

Hmm...you should insure the package before it comes in or try to replace it with newegg. Maybe you'll get your video card back.
