When he was drunk we all know he said some anti-semitical statements such as fuck the jews, all the wars in the world are because of the jews, fucking jews and then asked the sherif is he was a Jew he also refered to a female deputey as Suger Tits.

What do you think of his actions, I he got drunk and he did some stupid shit, he was drunk he didn't mean it.

He should be arrested for being Australian.

Charles rules you all!

Whenever anyone gets drunk, they do stupid SHlT but even then they still have to take responsibility for their actions so, yes he didn't mean it but will still have to pay for his actions.

Yes he should pay for the drink-driving but people have been saying they refuse to work with him because of it.

Pink Floyd does that mean we finally have an excuse to arrest Nicole Kidman, Kylie Minogue and Hugh Jackman.

he has a new movie coming out called Apocalypto, and it'll probably not do well because of his actions, plus, it hasn't even been advertized on TV

He is in a rehab clinic

and Axel he was raised as an aussie

Though introduced to US audiences as an Australian actor, the strikingly handsome, blue-eyed Gibson was actually born in New York state and emmigrated to Australia in 1968. He made a name for himself in the leather-clad title role of George Miller's "Mad Max", as the post-apocalyptic action hero, and in "Tim" (both 1979), playing a retarded handyman in love with Piper Laurie. Gibson became a bankable star in Australia after starring in Peter Weir's war drama, "Gallipoli", and "The Road Warrior", (both 1981), Miller's transcendent follow-up to "Mad Max"....

Naplam, I don't care about that, I hate the taste of alcohol

point is, he needed to go into rehab because he needs the appearance that he's setting his life straight, gah, you need to get a clue, not me

What makes it even funnier is that he wasn't all that hammered. He had a blood alcohol level of 1.2 or something, thats not very drunk for all the cussing, pissing, shouting, and releasing of bodily fluids he did.
I don't know any state where that isn't legally intoxicated.

If you blow a 1.2%, you're fairly drunk. Especially if you have a low alcohol tolerance (Like he does)

legal intoxication levels in most states is 0.02%.

Actually, it's 0.8% in most states.

Heyyou27

.08 is 8% alcohol, thats a difference of 4 percent. .12 would not kill you, not even close. You can go up to like .22 and not need medical attention, but .12 is nothing close to dying. Get your facts straight. Above .22 and medical attention may be necessary, but its possible to go up to something like .36 and get nothing but the worst hangover of your life.
That's not how it works; .08 is actually .08% alcohol.

Mel Gibson is receiving help from his friends, whose names I don't know, but they are glad that he's receiving help from a clinic and that he's made a formal apology to the Jewish religion

.08 BAC == .8 grams per 1000 grams of blood, which translates to, you'd have to blow 10.0 to be equal to 1% alcohol in your bloodstream and you'd be dead long before you hit that point.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_alcohol_content

MrNaPaLm32
08-10-2006, 01:02 PM
err

For example, a BAC of 0.20% means 2 grams of alcohol per 1000 grams of an individual's blood.

Heyyou27
08-10-2006, 01:08 PM
err
Note: The first three mass/volume units are not exactly equivalent to the last two mass/mass units.

Because the density of blood is 1.06 g/mL, there is a very close approximation between mass/volume and volume/volume measurements. For this reason, a mg/mL is approximately the same as a mg/g. An exact conversion is 1 mg/g = 1.06 mg/mL.

In the vernacular and even in popular media, the abbreviation BAC is often used as a unit. For example, in the United States, BAC has become synonymous with g/100 mL and percent by mass. When discussing BAC across international boundaries, it is best to use appropriate units.Either way you were completely wrong and are still have no argument.
