For those clones that remain they will recieve completly new movesets which means that Ganondorf will get the sword that he was supposed to have in melee :D so that is good news.

There is a new item called the "Assist Trophy" which is like a pokeball for all non Pokemon characters. Current Assist Trophys are:

- Devil (Devil World)
- Knuckle Joe (Kirby)

It seems like every other one. Maybe include someone from Fire Emblem?

They have Marth and Roy from Fire Emblem I hope the put in Ike, Hector and Lyn aswell and how is it close to the other ones have you seen the trailer! It will have 40 characters including 3 3rd party characters how cool is that!

Sonic would be awsome because Sonic vs Mario, you can use the GC controllers with the wii and Diddy Kong (unconfirmed) will be awsome

I'd like to see Meowth. And Zero Suit Samus looks kind of cool.

Crash is my choice, too. Krystal would be a good coice, too.

Crash Bandicoot and Spyro are unlikely although they have appeared on nintendo consoles they don't have very large demand, they would be cool though but still Sonic > Crash > Spyro > Megaman > Waluigi
I doubt anything generic like a metroid will be in but it would be cool and Krystal is a shoe in.

My brother used to love Spyro. He'd have been happy if Spyro were involved.

Mother Brain would be cool but for a metroid villain I would prefer Ridley or Dark Samus

I just went to a n64 SSB tourney. It was so cool. That is one of the best games ever made (in my opinion) and i hope the next one is even BETTER!

Sakurai has confirmed that some characters will be removed and Roy was used to promote FE6 and now that it's out and he wasn't popular there's no need for him and plus he is much weaker than Marth anyway.

Mother Brain is one of the main villains from the Metroid series (Samus' games) she's a big floating brain so she wouldn't be good to be playable, Ridley however would work he is a pterodactyl type guy, he's awsome.
