well i can drive and im happy with my 4runner. I also have a '75 Ford Bronco that i love to take climbing. But thinking about cars that i will never have.

I'm loving the Japanese cars. I have a 94 RX7 F3DS and it only cost me about $4000 over here. I'm thinking about a r33 Skyline GTR VSPEC, but i dunno, they're kinda heavy. I'd love an R34, but they cost about $25,000 over here.

save up buy a faster car! sumthin like a porche or ferrari or sumthin fast.

So you are all talking about the cars you like, and you all seem to know the fast cars, but what about the engines? Anyone have ideas for upgrades to a car's drive train? Or any advice on types of horsepower boosters? I think a car engine should be the first thing to be putting all your money on, and the body/exterior should be last...any thoughts?

It all depends on the car you are trying to upgrade. For instance, the easiest thing to do to my RX7, would be buy bigger turbos. But if you have a corvette, (a bigger non-aspirated engine) you'd want to do something along the lines of a head job, (ported, polished, ect.) The easiest and quickest way to add horsepower is exhaust and intake. Get a good exhaust and a ram or cold air intake, you're looking at maybe 50 extra HPs depending on the car.

hiflo turbos...i dunno what i'm runnin. probably around 400 somewhere.

i dunno wat his bhp is but i know tht it goes frm 0-60 in about 2 secs :P

Skylines are overrated. Everyone has one over here. Very seldom do they actually go out and buy the GTR. They get the gts-t and they're pretty slow.

skylines r definetely not overrated. my fave is the R34 GTR like i said in my thread but my fave of all cars is the 1997 WRX STi (prefferably wagon) with a Droid 2 Bodykit and t-66 Turbo, muuwahahaha, the most evil of all cars, when i get my car im gonna go straight to Jetspeed Queensland.

weve got an old beetle, 69 model and its in good nick, i hope we sell it so i dont have to learn in it. id rather learn in the 1 tonne rodeo. HOLDEN is heaps better than VW
