Is it just me, or does it seem like pretty much all of our oldest members have left?
Wait, if everyone here is new, how would they know who our oldest members are?
Dang.

I wish that my member number hadn't changed when I switched to Pink Floyd.

Anyways, what ever happened to the last samuri?

I still see him around sometimes. Rarely.

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.

I wouldn't want to be child-minded forever though... the world would be so boring. So many things I would never understand.

I don't think many people would. You're not living life when you do that.

Meh...I'll keep growing, and getting older, but I think my G-addiction will last. The last samurai...he left at about the time he made that small and unpopluar anime forum. =P
Not sure about most of the others though. They just up and dissapeared.

I would hope that I stay here for a good while, not forever, but long enough. For me this is a connection to people, it's easier to talk here for some reason.

thats because overall noone actually knows who you are.
if you got up on a desk at school and shouted "OMFG 1337 T3H F*CK1NG PWNZ0R3S" everyone would call you an idiot.
if you said that on gprime you would still be called an idiot but it wouldnt matter.
btw blackice who wrote that quote? i like it too.

What about Kewmat, Isharted, and Rahx?
Also, you joined only about about 7 minutes before I did.

Maybe gprime is just a phase we're all going through. Maybe it's a sanctuary from all the other crap. Maybe we just do it because we're bored or we need something to indulge in. Maybe *gasp* we just plain enjoy being part of the community. But eventually, people tend to focus more on building a foundation and acheiving the life that they have always wanted. For some people, gprime gets in the way of that. That's called growing up, which, like Blackice or some genious before him said, is optional.

I'm not real sure where it originated. I picked it up on FidoNet years ago. (my god that's going to date me horribly)

Fidonet... yes, yes, I remember reading about that in a dinosaur book once I believe. I also believe that they had a picture in the book of you using Fidonet, with a caption of "BlackIcickis Fidonetus".

Kewmat, Isharted and Rahx are all inactive pretty much and I joined about 10 minutes and 4 members before you. I bet I'll be one of the last to quit gprime.

I don't think people will just quit. I think the website will get turned into something else or sold or something.

Not that I think John would do that to us...
