Ok, I thought about this today.
Everybody knows how pirating music then downloading on websites is illeagal. Well, what if somebody makes a 'remix' of the song and puts it on a website for download. Would that remix be considered illeagal?

The remix has to be more than 15% different and the producer has to sign it off for it to be legal.

Yay, it's legal! Its complicated. Thats how copyrights work.
I would say it would be legal. Remixes of most songs are awesome!! *big grin* But I would go with what RIAA says, not what I say...

Good ol' Death from Above 1979, when they released their album, the released a remix album a year or so later. The remix album was just as good as the album.
