For the task they are responsible for, they do very well. you try regulating thousands of virus's on an operating system 90% of computers have. I think they do a relatively good job keeping things under control.

I dont think microsoft sucks. Its a great company and a great console distributer. But on the other hand, microsoft does have it's flaws and noone can forget the nintendo 64. It was the best console in its year and now there making touch screen systems. But sony, Sucks. Its my opinoin, but listen, Whenever microsoft or nintendo makes games, sony has to steal it and put it on ps2. theve only created about 10 games themselfs. the others, such as: True crime: Streets of LA Was made by EA games and microsoft. Sony asked EA to put it on ps2. Same with many other games. And when Nintendo made the first Nintendo DS, sony was all "****! Now we need to make a handheld that can have speech, 3d graphics, and great gameplay!"
Looks like they just ran out of Ideas so that had to copy nintendo.

Plus there are some really good PSP games (Field Commander, Monster Hunter Freedom, Metal Gear acid(s), Daxter, Capcom Classics Remixed).

Metal Gear solid stared on the MSX and was then ported to the NES then there were MGS games on the PS1, PS2 and Gamecube.

Xbox's controllers are heavy and uncomfertable if they could do that right they would have an ok system, but I hate microsoft as a company because they stole Rareware away from Nintendo (a dumb choice for rare to leave they have won no awards for their Xbox games and they have made barely any new games they should have stuck with Nintendo)

Now that I think about it, it's actually pretty stupid that we're arguing about who stole which games from who, when in reality, it's the game companies choice on who they make it for, all the system has to do with it is how the graphics are and how powerful it is and stuff.

All current PS2 emulators suck due to bad performance and stability issues.

I don't think it's worth it, though they do need to catch up with next generation consoles. I prefer the computer over it, and if I prefer a computer over their game system then that means they aren't doing a good job convincing me with how good their system is, therefore in my point of view I think they're not doing good on the game system part.

You can't base an opinion of a game solely off of the graphics. Sure, that's an important factor, but there's so much other stuff to consider. If you got really excited about a games that looked totally kick-ass, but every review you read said it sucked, would you buy it?

Yes, because Microsoft now has games that I want on their consoles. They have Grand Theft Auto 4, Banjo Threeie, Unconfirmed future Conker title, Perfect Dark Zero and a few others.

I find the only thing they're good for is making the OS I'm using right now.
