Hi,

I was surfing around and came across this forum. I'm a wizard on the new free browser-based game called Prehysteria.

I'd like to invite you to the game to come, join and have fun. Have a look and see what it's about. We've just launched and are extremely excited about the future prospects. Feedback is, of course, always welcome... and sometimes even rewarded ;-) In game currency, that is.

Here's our marketing blurb:

Welcome to Prehysteria, the game where prehistory meets the present. You play dinosaurs, each competing to become the dominant species. Food resources are scarce and you will need all the cunning you can muster to evolve your species' way to becoming top of the bone pile.

I tried this game out...it seems pretty unbalanced towards subscribers, so I quit playing.

Yeah why pay to be equal?

Actually our intention in designing the game is to provide subscribers an information advantage over non-subscribers and not an actual advantage in what their species does.

Presently, 6 of the top 10 are non-subscribers. The other 4 are beta testers and played the game in Alpha, so where more familiar with the game but that will change in the next game age.

Lastly, it's only $6 to subscribe for 3 months. Hardly serious cash.

Hope this clears up some misapprehensions.

The thing is I don't want to pay for a browser based game, even if it costs a little bit of cash. It just isn't worth it unless it's actually a really good browser based game.
