diet poop 06-21-2006, 11:59 AM gwar? Does that stand for something?
Hellraiser 06-21-2006, 12:08 PM couldent tell you but they rock as a band
Supa Fool 12-29-2007, 11:38 PM gwar sounds like some sort of dinosaur mating call.
Zetex 12-29-2007, 11:42 PM eeeeeeew
GWAR is terrible
It not an antonym. It's their actual name. GWAR as in "GWAARGH!!" Unofficially though, I think it means God What an Awful Racket. Yup, safe to say I don't like em
Siriustar 12-30-2007, 08:44 PM My friends used to think that video they made covering "School's Out" was the most metal thing ever. Then I taught them how theatrics != good music.

I dunno. I'm not feelin' gwar. I'm still trying to get over the fact that Dragonforce is on GH3.

Who me?
And what's so bad about Dragonforce?
Zetex 12-30-2007, 11:16 PM I like some Dragonforce.
I heard they suck live, though.

If you can't beat the song then it served its purpose.
My friend can get 81% for Through Fire and Flames on expert. He's AMAZING.

Does he break the controller after the song? It must be hell for the strummer since the notes are reaelly close together.

My friend Austin gets about 80% of the way through on expert, consistently, and he got through 93% once, it was amazing, but he still lost. I was heart broken.

My friend gets all the way through, he doesn't mess up on certain parts, just a note here and there.
Krusty_The_Klown 12-31-2007, 04:32 PM Its kinda funny since the guitar hero thread is right next to this one.
Natus Lumen 12-31-2007, 05:56 PM Who me?
And what's so bad about Dragonforce?
No, sorry, not you. The kid who made this thread is an old friend. It wasn't until just a minute ago that I noticed this thread was made on the exact same day I joined.
Dragonforce is good, it's just that Herman Li (their guitarist) is WAY overrated. He has all these sponsorships from Ibanez and DiMarzio and stuff and all his album work sounds amazing and mind blowing. But if you hear them live, or if you listen to him play acoustic, he'll sound about as good as the average teenage guitarist.

He can't play the song on Guitar Hero.
Natus Lumen 01-01-2008, 06:36 PM Srsly?
I guess I'm not really surprised. Kinda like how being an awesome GH player is like being an awesome video game pilot: congratulations, you can play a simulator nothing like the real thing. Way to have no IRL talent.
Supa Fool 01-02-2008, 12:09 AM He blames the game, saying it's because he plays based on what he thinks sounds right. Nice lie, asshole.
gabrielwhist 01-02-2008, 12:37 AM Well you do realize that the fingering on Guitar Hero is not the fingering on an actual guitar for the song?
Supa Fool 01-02-2008, 12:42 AM So that should've been his excuse, but it wasn't, meaning he's probably lying.
