Whats the point of it?

A friend of mine's bought a DS Lite. He said it wasn't bad, considering it was cheaper and smaller than the normal DS. The only diffrence is that it is smaller and it can't play regular Gameboy games.

I don't know though, to make sure it's actually cheaper you might have to check prices ahead of time. Maybe he got it from another person who just didn't want the Lite and he bought it cheaper like that.

its the same price of the regular ds(at launch) and its way better it has an internet browser and movie/music player

Not like you can do anything with the web browser anyways.

Get off your high horse fanboy, accept the fact that the PSP sucks. The games all suck and force you to upgrade your firmware that doesn't do anything except screw up any of your homebrew stuff.

Yeah a complete shipping crate was stolen while being shipped from hong kong to Europe (which means they were all the new black ds lite's.)

I got a DSlite. I love it. Compared to my bro's DSphat, its 10x better. Its lighter, smaller, longer battery life, brighter screens, and small changes make it better. Such as mic is now in the center between the screens, the power button is now a slider on the side so you can't turn it off accidentally, the buttons themselves feel different/better, and the stylus is thicker/longer/easier to hold.
For the same price as the DSphat was at launch, its alot better... It can't play original gameboy games, but the phat couldn't either. It CAN play GBA games though. The battery life is up to 15 hours (laughs at sony), on the lowest screen brightness (still easily bright enough in dark/backseat in your parents minivan) and not in wiifi.
The wi-fi itself is awsome... its free, easy to set up, and the hours of fun playing metroid makes the games that much more entertaining. Only i only payed $260 (CANADIAN) for the lite + metroid, and the New Super Mario Bro's. must of racked up 30hours + since the 11.

Anytime. Is it just me or are the average 15/16 yearolds either 100% one direction or 100% the other...
I don't see way people can't just post what they think with valid reasons and most importantly, the reason why they tell everything/one else to go and suck on a dick just because they like another system that is just as good, but in a different catagory.

It doesn't matter, everything is going to be ruled over with computers and then everything is going to become way to pricy to purchase.

1. PC's are FASTER
FASTER= Better Graphics

2. PC's Have a Better game selection.

3. You can do other things with your PC

I like PC's, but I don't like people that always say they're SO much better than consoles.

Yes they are better, but:

1. You have to buy a fairly expensive graphics card every so often
2. If you do not have the right requirements, you cannot run it, or if you do meet them but you barely pass them, it doesn't run at a comfortable level
3. The control scheme usually isn't very good
4. You need to buy a seperate moniter and cannot just play it with a regular Television set.

There are a few others, but yeah. I do like PC's, especially since I can play a lot of the 360 games on them, but I'd much rather play a console, it's so much more, convenient.

Apparently you don't know jack about the "homebrew stuff." You don't need to update anymore. Someone made a loader that makes ur psp the correct firmware So you can play any game. It is part of the psp homebrew. The psp is better, the games are great, the graphics are awesome and it plays like a console. The DS is a piece of junk. There is a reason the DS is more cheap than the psp.

I should rephrase that, since most of the Xbox games come from the PC, but many more PS2/Gamecube specific games come out than PC specific ones do.
