How good is Bittorent compared to Limewire?

I like it more because you can download larger files and *complete* albums. It's pretty nice! Don't be shocked away by slow download rates - you're supposed to leave it on for a long time (one download of 2-3 gigs could take a whole day, even more).

BitTorrent is a little more sophisticated in the manner of how it sends/receives files. i'm don't know how it does everything exactly
Limewire just finds people to download from and starts downloading

Limewire also puts a bunch of adware/spyware on your computer, which people like me get paid to clean off :)

I find bit torrents take longer, but they are more reliable.

Bit torrent is the king i Love it, i live it, i friggin love it all hail to bit torrent, search demonoid on google it's a good rock band ;)


BTW: The application (Bit tornado etc) might be how you use it but you need to go to designated websites to find the goods.

Less chances For Faking Filenames
Ability to Multiple files with one download
-Disadvantages
Generally Slower
May require registration or passwords

Gnutella(Limewire, Bearshare, Gneucleus)
-Advantages
Faster
More files
-Disadvantages
You never really know what you're downloading
Sometimes a lack of illegal software
