I'm very confused on how to use them, trust me, I've been trying for a while, so if you're going to say "google it", don't post.

Thanks, feel free to close my 'Torrentz' thread. Just because some people use the software illegally doesn't mena thats what everyone does. I personally use it to get Live recordings of shows from bands that allow their MP3's to be traded. Also for all my *nix releases.

go to www.bitlord.com
download and install that
go to file open and open the torrent file you downloaded
it will then begin to download the file
bitlord also has the ability to search for torrents.

You can use Bittorrent too, but I highly suggest you use azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/).

Well it's probably because you didn't know how to get it to work, I mean it's not like the easiest torrent program you can use.

remember kids: torrents sometimes don't work if you're using a router.

Actually, sometimes really.in the case of what? your router doesnt accept UDP packets?

of course anyone can say 'sometimes' in any situation about anything
some people don't take the time to RTFM for their router to open ports
and some people have routers that are managed by their ISP - which the end users have no control over

but i would guess that 95%+ of routers will allow bittorrent

If it allows torrents from a curtant thing I know about, It should accept any other one.
