View Full Version : The United States or Canada? Ilikepandas 05-27-2006, 09:01 PM Which is better? Why? Snow 05-27-2006, 11:23 PM USA cuz were the center of the universe kekeke Led_Zeppelin 05-27-2006, 11:24 PM And so it begins. Ryu-Nacho 05-27-2006, 11:28 PM Continental America? Or does this include Alaska and Hawaii too? Heyyou27 05-27-2006, 11:36 PM This question is all based on opinions; I like the U.S. more, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a "better country". Some people may enjoy the Canadian lifestyle more than the American one. Axel 05-28-2006, 12:00 AM Probably Canada because my friend used to live there and I like the snow. Drunken_Shinobi 05-28-2006, 11:37 AM The U.S. I guess, because I live there and I don't see anything wrong with it. Snow 05-28-2006, 02:21 PM I live in the second snowiest city in America. (Buffalo being the first) MrNaPaLm32 05-28-2006, 02:28 PM chicago? Snow 05-28-2006, 02:35 PM Rochester Frookie 05-28-2006, 07:04 PM well...john would say Canada, I'd say Canada too, they're quite laid back, plus I don't get cold really, so Canada, plus it doesn't have many harsh storms in it like Hurricanes and I haven't heard of any tornadoes in Canada, just blizzards Led_Zeppelin 05-28-2006, 07:07 PM well...john would say Canada, I'd say Canada too, they're quite laid back, plus I don't get cold really, so Canada, plus it doesn't have many harsh storms in it like Hurricanes and I haven't heard of any tornadoes in Canada, just blizzards El Nino happens everywhere. Last year, I went to school and in the morning it was sunny with a couple clouds. 4 hours later the sky was completely black, and the winds picked up. The road I live on flooded (at the bottom of the street, it's poorly made) and a school a couple blocks away had its roof torn off. (The roof thing happened at 6:00 pm). Then at 10:00 pm, it was nice and calm. nickychris3 05-28-2006, 07:09 PM I don't know, i've never been to Canada. NOWAK 05-28-2006, 07:12 PM Well because I live in Canada I will have to say its better. The Perfect Seven 05-28-2006, 07:46 PM Canada seems nice... I don't particularly like all the political drama that's going on in the US of A right now Frookie 05-28-2006, 09:15 PM also Canada because it is better reputated internationally than the U.S. nickychris3 05-28-2006, 09:22 PM Just how do you know that? Led_Zeppelin 05-28-2006, 09:24 PM Canada seems nice... I don't particularly like all the political drama that's going on in the US of A right now We have our problems, but nothing as serious as the U.S. Boong 05-28-2006, 09:25 PM The states. Because, it's cooler. Drunken_Shinobi 05-28-2006, 10:04 PM Besides that I'm too used to living here, moving somewhere else and adapting seems too hard for me. nickychris3 05-28-2006, 10:54 PM I would actually like to leave the states, but to live in Europe, not the US clone. paranoia 05-28-2006, 11:13 PM U.S,because I refuse to live in the same country as Led.Kidding,I would rather be in Canada. poisonedcandy_X 05-31-2006, 02:53 AM I've never been to Canada, so I guess it doesn't matter what I think. But I would rather move there than stay here... Axel 05-31-2006, 03:33 AM Why? terrelbot 05-31-2006, 07:25 AM Why? I Love the ammount of raw information in this thread. But the OP did state a pretty vague question. USA has a better economy/medical/technology/gop/goverment/military/education/tranportation. Canada has a better pharamcutical and taxing/shipping set up. Between the two, I would have to say USA bas a better quality of life. But if I had a choice of where to live it would be niether. poisonedcandy_X 05-31-2006, 08:07 PM Why? Because everyone I've ever met who lives there is really nice. Plus, it never snows here. I mean, it does, but it doesn't really stick, and it isn't pretty. I love snow. =] Drunken_Shinobi 05-31-2006, 08:17 PM Because everyone I've ever met who lives there is really nice. Plus, it never snows here. I mean, it does, but it doesn't really stick, and it isn't pretty. I love snow. =] You live in California or something? For all I know it never snows around here or any of the other places that are desert like. Such as Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, and etc. Snow 05-31-2006, 08:35 PM It snows all the time in New York. Axel 06-01-2006, 04:40 AM In USA do they have double glazed windows as well? Snow 06-01-2006, 08:09 PM In USA do they have double glazed windows as well? What? Drunken_Shinobi 06-01-2006, 10:45 PM He probrably means those windows that keep out heat for summer purposes and keep out cold during winter. Axel 06-01-2006, 10:47 PM It's mainly for cold weather. Drunken_Shinobi 06-02-2006, 05:38 PM Well then, yes we do. Probably in New York and the Eastern Coast states. Frookie 06-02-2006, 09:19 PM yes, we have them on our house Drunken_Shinobi 06-02-2006, 09:47 PM I don't know if I have those, but my parents said the windows are expensive. Axel 06-03-2006, 03:45 AM Exactly. xyz 06-03-2006, 11:00 AM I prefer Canada than the US |
