I need help with game maker. here are teh things I need help with:

1: making things that a character can stand on.
2: being able to play a room

well your lucky im a gm pro but uhhh first of all:

1: what type of game are you making
2: are you registered?
3: did you look at the GM tutorials?
4: did you add the player object to the room?

to be registered you must have paid. and dont think you did because if you did you know what you would have done it for. and making random sprites isnt getting used to the program. making objects gets you the idea. and the player object is the object all the player controls are programmed to.

Meh. When I had Gamemaker, I found that simply experimenting was the best way to learn. *As is anything else.*

Why do people lack creativity in their insults these days? Seriously, find something better to say and don't repeat the same joke and maybe everyone will stop laughing at you, and I'm not saying this because I think you're dumb, I'm saying this because you look really lame right now.

go download a tutorial and whatever type of game. make the same amount of sprits and objects. Then copy all the actions. Then like make a room and design it how u want and like perry much just copy it but make your own things. Oh yeah use the advanced mode

My comp-sci class used this program for a project last year. I barely did anything but get sprites.
