2800 kids, some big dudes came in with a knife during school and were after my German exchange friend but the police busted in and arrested them. As you can guess, my german friend went back home quickly after that

Anyways, just today some guy put like a gun threat on their myspace for our school Then, like all the sudden the school took it seriously and had the whole place's security tightened a ****load. Turns out afterwards, there was no shootout at all.

Well, you can actually make a bomb out of homemade substances like fertilizer and it can be easy to smuggle in, but I can't garuntee all of them will work. It's pretty easy to take a bomb in because of that. If you think about it, it's probrably easier to find a gun because it is what it looks like and also it's hard to get in. But as for bombs you can make one without importing one from outside. So that's probrably why they never had a gun at their school yet.
