there've been a few videos added over the week without any formal update. so i guess i should do that before they go forgotten. if you want to stay up-to-date on the newest stuff (since it sometimes takes a couple days for an accompanying update), i suggest you subscribe to the gprime rss feed. the projects posted last week are making great progress, well, except maybe not the store. i've been working on a bit of artwork myself, but we need a few more designs (doesn't even have to be gprime related really -- just anything that is fun). if you know your way around photoshop, don't be shy, and drop by the gprime shop forum and show off your stuff. and don't worry -- no one is making any money of your work. this will be non-profit for everyone except the folks at cafepress.com (who make and handle the t-shirt orders).

anywho, this isn't a *real* update, it's just something to get these on the front page:

this man has learned to overcome his disabilities, and fights lead a normal life -- well, sort of.. (thanks, kewmat)
overcoming a challenge [ 850KB ]

i'm not sure how old this kid is, but his talent is rediculous (thanks, hexotron)
pool kid [ 3497KB ]

the future is here! this is actually pretty exciting if it isn't just a bunch of FOX fluff.
water fuel [ 7344KB ]

this is absolutely *priceless*. this cabby was waiting at a television studio, and they grabbed him and pulled him into an interview without realizing he wasn't the technology specialist they thought he was. (watch his reaction when she introduces him.)
confused cabbie [ 4902KB ]

this is no video game. it's actual footage from one of those cameras that tracks people who run red lights. and did this guy *ever* run this red light. (thanks, nickychris3)
real life frogger [ 308KB ]

i'm not sure weather this is real or not. this is a pretty strange acting bird (beautiful, yet terrifying).
strange exotic bird [ 6923KB ]

this is a classic, but more than one person asked this to go up. so here it is :)

If I edit your post, will it change the front page, too?

Well, the water fuel thing is *Not* just fake... H2O does go through electrolosys, its the opposite of what happens with fuel cells, and pure hydrogen can sure burn...

Edit: Although im not exactly sure how it can burn so cool in other conditions

Heh, I just watched an episode of mythbusters and they discovered that you can run any car with hydrogen gas, just feed it into the fuel tank and it will run.

Those birds are CG. Or mutants. They are too creepy to live.

Damn, scary.

You can find that shirt anywhere, its not like he invented it. He did come up with the one that says "I do all my own experiments"

also, the water fuel isn't all that commercially viable... the special electrolysis process uses as much, and probably a good bit more energy than you get from the hydrogen... and its not like its easier to store hydrogen either...

Damn, scary.

That bird is totally real alright. Not scary, not mutants, but unique. The narrator is naturalist Sir David Attenborough (http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/programmes/who/david_attenborough.shtml). I saw that documentary "The Life of Birds" on Animal Planet some time ago. If I recall, I guess he mentioned earlier that it is the very first time this has been caught on film.

Yeah those birds are totally real. I took ornithology this semester and am a big bird watcher and my prof showed us dozens of videos just as bizzare. Also weird, the stuff he does research on, are manakins and cotingas. As the narrator says, when resources are super abundent females are able to raise young on their own, leaving the males to figure out ways to show off their genes.

All of em froze about 1/3 the way through...Refreshing the page, pausing, and dragging the slider didn't help...

That pool thing is actually really easy to do, any of you that can hit the ball can do it. All you have to do is set the balls up right, and hit them. There is no secret to it. You cant always do it every time. But I can do most those 7 out of 10 times..
