I think it's a movie/book, if you don't want to, don't watch it/read it.

People take the book too seriously. I have yet to read it, or to watch the movie, so I can't say what I think of it personally. But, it's categorized as a fiction by the author, and should be treated as such.

I'd like to see that movie since I've read the book and thought it was good.

Yeah, I want to read the book before I see the movie.

I'm reading it again so I get more detail on the book and stuff. Possibly maybe go in the theater and ruin the movie for some folks.

Ugh, it tells vewiers/readers that Jesus and Mary were not married, yes there is no evidence thet they were, but if it was a sin to have sex before marriage then why would the man who died for our sins commit a sin?

For the book report i'm doing, I now have two books in mind. Either The Da Vinci Code or Diary Of Anne Frank, only thing is Da Vinci Code looks like hard reading, I wonder if it's ok to do, afterall this counts as a major part of my grade and i'm hoping to do well on it. Do you think the book is at 8th grade level?

I think so, I read the book at 9th grade, so I'm guessing you can read it as well.

the year 9s and 10s found it too hard and here I am a year 8 showing them up althought I think that the 9/10 honors english class (my class next year) have read it now for an assignment

The only proof behind the da vinci code's claim still is this parchment they found written by disciple which was burnt up or something and it claimed that some disciples were jelous when jesus kissed mary magdelene on the (burnt out bit). So we will never know what jesus kissed :)

The bible doesn't cover jesus's childhood and growing up very much- how do we know he didn't get up to any naughty stuff back then?

The Da vinci codes like one giant history lesson, except mostly made up.

Angels and Demons is far more gruesome and entertaining

the facts in general are true but the guy jibbs them to make them sound interesting

Well I thought the movie wasn't that bad. It's just the fact they left out some stuff from the book, like any other movie based on a book.

actually you never hear if he lives or dies do you, you just know that he was wounded badly I think he died it's all about how the reader adapts it. I never thaught that sir Leigh Talbing would be the teacher when I read the book I thought it was Bezu Fache

this thead was one of the reasons, I watched a documentary on the da vinci code yesterday it was very interesting it said that the Templar knights couldn't have dug that far down underneath the temple of solomon with those ancient tools and they interviewed the people who are supposed to be ther heirs of Mary Magdelene and Jesus Christ and they just laughed and said they didn't think that they were the heirs of Jesus (Sorry for ruining the book and movie people who havn't read it, I won't spoil anymore)
