I've been a hardcore nintendo fan since i was seven. I've had every system they've put out since super nintendo. I love nintendo. After the failure of the Gamecube, I promised myself i would leave Nintendo and jump on the Microsoft bandwagon. For a while, i wanted an xbox360 so bad i thought i was going to die. Luckily, i never got enough money to buy one.

After E3 this year, everything has changed.

I watched ALL the trailers on e3insider.com

Yes, the PS3's graphics are to die for, but it's waaaay out of my price league. Way way out.

Xbox has nothing to die for, yes the graphics are good, it's moderately priced but...there's nothing too special.

Unaware of what nintendo could possibly do with a "stupid remote control(ler)" I jumped on to e3insider.com and watched a preview.

It blew me away. In 3 minutes I have given up dreams of any other next gen system but wii...for one game. Well, 2 actually. I've been waiting for the new zelda since e3 last year. Now, it's coming out the day the wii does...with awsome new features.

But anyway. The trailer. Here it is: Red Steel. If it works like it looks like it works...FPS's will have been changed forever.

The motion sensor setup makes the game pretty amazing; the graphics weren't bad or fantastic, but the control setup is what the "Wii" is all about.

I liked the Legend of Zelda: Twilight princess, the new super smash bros, and Project H.A.M.M.E.R. all looked cool for wii.

some of them do but the new Donkey Kong game is being supervised by the guy who made king of swing (the first decent DK game since DK64)

Lol. I hope it really works like that. A sword you control by swinging the controller?? Noice. And this is a launch day title so games will get better.

I believe that with the lack of (good) games on the DS, Nintendo will make up for it by having more games on the Wii. I think that program companies, such as Ubisoft, will meet a new challenge on the Wii, and I think that will encourage some great games to come into development.

They estimate between $200-$250. Games: 40-50.

Much cheaper than PS3 (600-700 depending on which version you get) and i heard the games might be $80!!!

I think it's to much of a risk, what if Blu-ray turns out like the UMD movies?At worst it will simply be a PS3 exclusive thing. That would benefit sony, making it much harder to copy games because they wouldnt have to release blu-ray to the public.
