Why do you hate/love him?
Just trying to get things started, because I have no stance on the matter.

Just trying to get things started, because I have no stance on the matter. bagel head 05-11-2006, 08:43 PM I hate him, because he is an idiot. I have a saying. "Impeach President Cheney, and his little sidekick too!" I thought that was so funny after hearing it from one of my teachers. Boong 05-11-2006, 09:20 PM I love him, and Impeaching means to charge with a crime, what crime has he commited, none. Oh yeah, and what has he done for you to hate him. Drunken_Shinobi 05-11-2006, 09:26 PM He needs to do a better job. MrNaPaLm32 05-11-2006, 10:39 PM I disagree with some of the republican values, such as abortion, and anti-gay laws. But i disagree with more of the liberal values. such as universal healthcare, plans or iraq, etc. I just cant seem to come up with anything hes really done wrong, other than making the "end of fighting" speech on the USS Abraham Lincoln. Bosman310 05-11-2006, 10:42 PM i hate him......... MrNaPaLm32 05-11-2006, 10:43 PM i hate him.........this is the problem with american politics. you have people who hate him, but dont state a reason. rehabisforquitters 05-11-2006, 11:43 PM this is the problem with american politics. you have people who hate him, but dont state a reason. Exactly what I thought. I don't think that George Bush is a moron, simply because I don't really know his policies (I don't pay attention to politics) nor do I want to follow in my parents footsteps of loving him, simply because they're my parents. When I'm knowlegeable enough to make a decision whether I like him or not, I'll come back to this thread. In the mean time....Squabble. Heyyou27 05-12-2006, 05:20 PM I hate him, because he is an idiot. I have a saying. "Impeach President Cheney, and his little sidekick too!" I thought that was so funny after hearing it from one of my teachers. Most kids don't know what they're talking about anyways. I disagree with some of the republican values, such as abortion, and anti-gay laws. But i disagree with more of the liberal values. such as universal healthcare, plans or iraq, etc. I just cant seem to come up with anything hes really done wrong, other than making the "end of fighting" speech on the USS Abraham Lincoln. More moderate; not a bad stance. He doesn't talk properly, he bombs things instead making peace with them, which would be the "I'm the better nation" thing to do I don't care what you think simply because you are a foreigner and usually seem to hate my country. and gas cost an arm and a leg. *But it's not extortion, mind you! :P* You do realize Clinton was the one who let Exxon and Mobile merge, which is now the largest oil company in the world. Ryu-Nacho 05-12-2006, 05:36 PM Gas wasn't quite so expensive 'til Bush came into office though. Gas companies have been making record profits recently. rehabisforquitters 05-12-2006, 05:52 PM Gas wasn't quite so expensive 'til Bush came into office though. Gas companies have been making record profits recently. Gas prices fluxuate, just like the prices on food, propane, etc. The reason why it's been so high lately has been because of the few hurricanes we've suffered. I don't want to go into why we're in Iraq, but It's not ONLY Bush's fault we're in a slump with gas prices. Heyyou27 05-12-2006, 05:52 PM Gas companies have been making record profits recently. Oil companies that Clinton didn't try to stop. Ryu-Nacho 05-12-2006, 06:09 PM I can't really argue with either of you on this effectively, because you both have good points. He's been criticized a lot for his actions. It's not the criticisms that bother me, it's the fact that the people who make them either: 1. Have no idea what they're talking about 2. Are just going with the bandwagon 3. Do nothing but criticize Bush because he's republican So please, if you don't know what you're talking about, do a little research before saying something retarded like "I hate bush". CNN aired his PRACTICE speach live recently... what jerks... In case you haven't noticed. As gas prices go up, other items do to. A heck of a lot of the money used when you buy gas goes to the government, something like 80%. This is probably the same amount that goes to the companies that make the food at your local super market. My Safeway only gets 10% of their sales in food and other things. Gas, in relevence to other items, has stayed the same for a long while. And the fact that the price goes up for a non-renuable resource, it doesn't shock me. I also think that US soldiers need to stay in the middle east as long as neccissary until what needs to be done is done. My friend's perents are in favor of the war in Iraq, and they've had 2 of their kids serve time in the war. Also, compared to the amount of deaths in other wars, the death toll in this war is miniscule; the [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Chancellorsville]Battle of Chancellorsville[url] had 13,000 casualties in it in one battle compared to the some 2000 casualties in the current war. My retarded? And you're gonna let this lie, slip away are you? How does this affect the US? Oh wait, it doesn't. This reminds me of the argument used back when people didn't want to go to war with Germany. What if I told you if effected your McDonald's, do you care now? okay, what's your proof? Heres what you learn when you read something besides what Michael Moore has taught you. Saddam's internal security regime achieved notoriety for its extreme ruthlessness. In 1982, during a visit to Dujail, Saddam was to address and praise the city's residents for their support and contributions in the Iran conflict, when an assassination attempt was mounted against him. The town of Dujail lies 40 km (25 miles) north of Baghdad; Saddam's security forces in return attacked the city, killing and executing up to 137 of its inhabitants, including a number of children. Around 1,500 townspeople were sent to prison and tortured. The entire town was also punished by having 1,000 square kilometres (250,000 acres) of farmland destroyed; replanting was only permitted 10 years later. On March 16, 1988, the Kurdish town of Halabja was attacked with a mix of mustard gas and nerve agents, killing 5,000 civilians, and maiming, disfiguring, or seriously debilitating 10,000 more. By 1982, Iraq was on the defensive and looking for ways to end the war. At this point, Saddam asked his ministers for candid advice. Health Minister Riyadh Ibrahim suggested that Saddam temporarily step down to promote peace negotiations. Ibrahim’s chopped up body was delivered to his wife the next day. I don't know about you, but I'm personally glad he's no longer in power. But I guess people being inhumanely killed doesn't bother you unless its a American right? I'm not convinced. It's just suspicious, and has nothing to do with the middle-east. you bet! have they? I knows that not true. no-one can run a country like America? Bill Clinton seemed to hold up pretty well didn't he? And he only lied about his PERSONAL LIFE. Which is supposed to be secret if you ask me sinse it doesn't affect soldiers, other countries, and well, you get the picture. Every president keeps secrets. Heres a tip... you don't know everything going on. Plus he lied about campaign fraud in the 96 election, and what bout the 200 convicts he pardoned on his last day... including his brother? I think you mean 'an'. And you are racist for saying all Iraqis are evil. I like how you don't make a single argument of defense, but instead attack my grammar. I guess when you take the time to type out actual well thought out responses you make a few grammar mistakes. cos George Bush doesn't want to admit he's wrong, so he thinks he's right. "We could of won this ware hatefully."? Don't you mean, "We could have won this war hatefully.". And again, where's your proof? but atleast I have the ability to use proper grammar in my sentances. Did you mean, 'Because'? See... I can be a dick just like you. So it wasn't an invasion? Looks that way to me. It wasn't a invasion... it was a war. he did screw it up. BIG TIME! And I think you should learn how to spell aren't. Oh, and why aren't they told everything? No they arn't (just for you baby.) And we are not still fighting the war because Bush doesn't want to stop, its because you can';t just pull out of a country... you have to restructure it. But once again, you don't have the ability to understand this because you don't want to accept it, you just want to ***** and moan. If you want ill go back and bold atleast 4 of your grammar mistakes... but I prefer to use this forum to... I don't know... maybe debate? Frookie 06-03-2006, 06:10 PM notice how one of them was you're, which is you are, it's not your'e, it's you're, lol MrNaPaLm32 06-03-2006, 06:27 PM It's pretty obvious who's bad and who's good. http://www.tvnewslies.org/bushbudget.gifthats funny. Axel 06-03-2006, 08:02 PM I just know there's going to be a war soon. rehabisforquitters 06-03-2006, 09:06 PM That is, unless I close the thread... What if I told you if effected your McDonald's, do you care now???? Heres what you learn when you read something besides what Michael Moore has taught you.I already know Saddam's a bad man, I never said he wasn't. But why is it America's problem? Did it say Saddam was a threat to the US at all in Wikipedia? I don't think so. I don't know about you, but I'm personally glad he's no longer in power. But I guess people being inhumanely killed doesn't bother you unless its a American right?that's not what I said at all. Unless Iraq asked America for the liberation, and asked America to destroy some of it's land, and buildings, and ask America to kill it's people, I think it's an invasion. ;) Every president keeps secrets. Heres a tip... you don't know everything going on. Plus he lied about campaign fraud in the 96 election, and what bout the 200 convicts he pardoned on his last day... including his brother?okay, lets forget clinton, this 'everybody lies' thing of yours isn't proving anything. This lie about the war isn't something you should just let go. It's a major issue. I like how you don't make a single argument of defense, but instead attack my grammar. I guess when you take the time to type out actual well thought out responses you make a few grammar mistakes. is that all I've done? Well atleast it's better than calling people retarded. And then spelling "you're" wrong. Did you mean, 'Because'? See... I can be a dick just like you.there's a difference between ocasionally shortening a word, than deliberately spelling it wrong. I'm sure you understand the difference. It wasn't a invasion... it was a war.on what? And how was it started again? No they arn't (just for you baby.) And we are not still fighting the war because Bush doesn't want to stop, its because you can';t just pull out of a country... you have to restructure it. But once again, you don't have the ability to understand this because you don't want to accept it, you just want to ***** and moan.can';t we? why do we have to 'restructure' it? When the troops come out, Iraq will have a civil war anyway. So we don't have 'restructure' it. If you want ill go back and bold atleast 4 of your grammar mistakes... but I prefer to use this forum to... I don't know... maybe debate?I don't think insulting people is a debate terrelbot. and saying "But once again, you don't have the ability to understand this because you don't want to accept it, you just want to ***** and moan." is anything but an attack on me because you judge me by what I think a war is about. Now, stop trying to insult me, and lets debate this properly. ;) ------------------ thats funny. Would you mind telling us where that large incline to clintons presidency starts? yes, thats right. GB senior. when does it start going down? CLinton. hmmmm... so, there was an increase at the end of Nixon and Ford. But they didn't do much did they? The increase and decrease are in '92 and '00 at the elections. So in other words, as soon as Bush became president, he lost money. And this was because of him lowering taxes like a moron which he is. Which is why I hate him. He can't run a country. Axel 06-04-2006, 04:24 AM Calm down. xyz 06-04-2006, 04:31 AM I am calm. Can't say much about terrelbot though. Terrelbot stop being so aggressive to people who are just making a point. You'll just end up getting lashed out at in the end. Personally, i think the bush regime is a bit gay. All his speeches are ****ing tongue in cheek for the people that write them! It's blatent lieing... Or at least that's how our media depicts it. I don't know that much about Clinton, as i was too young to care about it when he was elected, and our country doesn't care about the modern history of america, but from what i've seen here, he's got a much better argument for being a 'better president' and i do believe that a lot of lives could have been saved if bush wasn't in power.. And that's all that really matters. Bush also seems to have ****ed over a lot of the citizens of america, and i don't really care about that either, but it must suck to be cautious of what you say on a the telephone, for example. terrelbot 06-04-2006, 09:47 AM Piss off axel, unless you have something to contribute. As soon as their is a party shift we will see just as many bad Democratic presidents as we saw Republicans. I bet you will change sides then too. How do you know? It seems to me that the democrats are pretty much all the same if comparing Clinton, Gore and Kerry. They're all for the environment and economy, against war, against anything Bush does, for money and tactics, against illegal activities. The republicans just invade foriegn countries because they can't do anything else. They're are stupid, have immoral ideas, and put America down not up like the democrats. Kerry might not have been the best person for president, but the democrats are 100000% better than the republicans, and anything was better than Dubya. http://cronus.com/images/bush_clinton.jpg |
