Wow, that was a bit of a rant. Gackt's music is almost equivalant to american Emo, but If you have ever listened to Malice Mizer, its not anything like you just described. Some of their music is far from creepy, just listen to Syunikiss, you can't make assumtions about bands like that, I mean, its tempting too, but you cant. Because bands like Hawthorne heights, MCR, Funeral for a friend, they all look like the same emo crap, but then a band comes along that you might try to automatically compare to My Chemical Romance, and it turns out they realy are good. Malice mizer, I love how you say "They barely touch their instruments". Such a stupid thing to say considering alot of their songs are mostly instrumental. Listen to bands before making huge assumptions about an entire genre.
